1. The power of a king is displayed in his wealth
2. The purpose of a kings wealth is to show his reputation among all the king - his glory (full weight, true nature,excess)
3. The glory of a king is the power to out give all the other kings
4. Giving places a demand on the kings wealth - giving challenges a kings glory
5. Giving requires a response from a king(he needs something to prove)

Such garbage the teaching of principles of giving gifts to a king and placing God just like a king on earth which God needs you to give him gifts. Is he preaching the Bible really ? No.
God created everything, everything belongs to God, God gives us the use of the things God created and are his already, he does not need us to give him gifts. In fact God says what he wants from us to give him is our love ! Try giving a king $7.00 some where and see if that king gives you $70.00 back, I doubt it !
You have actually not read the Bible. I suggest you do so before you speak without knowledge. Start with Hosea 4:6, Gen 31:1, Prov 13:1,22, Ps 49:16,17, Ps 68:19 there is much much more.
