Sanjay PLEASE PLEASE PREPARE FOR THE INTERVIEW BEFOREHAND. Your questions are so basic and dumbfounded. If learning is beyond your capacity, let us submit questions and discussion topics that you could use. You have such great connection with powerful and influential people, don't let this potential go to waste.
can agree with you ... but sanjay is inviting people from a diverse field ....so being a single person .... He cant gather vast or depth knowledge of each and every sector .... so lets not blame him ... Ani about submitting questions ....yes we ( viewers of sanjay ) can submit or share that ...... but in this scenario also .... we give questions ...sanjay can ask that question ....but after the guest replies ... there wont be way to counter or debate until u have depth of that particular subject ......

Issues in agriculture in Nepal : Issues: 1.Land acquisition 2.Market guarantee. ( a farmer on the outskirts of Ktm can somehow manage and survive by even selling tomatoes on medium scale, but around rest of Nepal, getting the produce to the market is a headache, let alone getting a good price for the produce..... eta Nepali product kuhincha, market paudaina, uta India/China bata aaeka product le purai market flood gardinchan..... Sarkar lai baal chaina.... kinaki trader haru le paisa peleka chan..... Natra, ta kunai pani desh le aafno production ko market guarantee ko lagi, bideshi product lai highly tax garchan......) 3.Fertilizers. Do I even need to explain further regarding this? 4.Non-automization ( due to heavy investment of money in machines), and therefore limited amount of profit, after back breaking work. 5.Un-predictable climate. ( When you need rain it goes dry for continuous 2-3 weeks and when you expect dry season and want to rotate the crops, the monsoon extends till early November.) 6.Expensive irrigation. ( due to use of underground water, either using electricity or generators) 7.Quality of seeds. ( everything goes your way, but supposing the seeds themselves are bad. Then you get tall growth of plants, but produce is not as expected) 8.Corruption in the name of subsidy. ( 10 lakh ko anudan ko lagi, suru ma farm register garnu paryo, tespachi, anudan karyakram ko lagi paisa magchan. Pradesh le biniyojan garepachi, tyo file liyera feri kendra ma aaera, final approve garesi balla, paisa move huncha... 3-4 thau ma paisa magchan. 10 lakh ko anudan lai, 4-5 lakh kharcha garnu parcha... paeko 5 lakh ma, k chai khyasincha hola ra?)
Regarding selling hydroelectricity and water and becoming rich : 1. Climate change 2. Already less snow fall. 3. Destructive monsoons ( affecting hydro projects since 5-6 years) 4. Hugeee investment, limited lifespan (100 years mostly), risk of bursting, and cost of human rehabilitation. Rather, investing on Solar to produce similar amount in wayy less electricity could be done. The barren hills of Nepal, are ideal getting sufficient sunlight even in winters. In the monsoon, running hydro can be more reliable. Also, hydrogen production could be a life saviour. With formation of urea for storage, sell as well as agriculture fertilizer.
Golcha Family is remembered by thousands in Biratnagar and even in Bihar and WB for their social services. Especially the eye hospital of Biratnagar which served millions of poor patients for decades , despite no assistance from government. Unfortunately the so -called Communist government sabotaged their progress. Manufacturing automobiles and mobiles in a nation like Nepal was a huge act of sacrifice and faith too. Totally agree with Tourism and Hydro Electricity as being the main stays of the Nepalese 🇳🇵 economy BUT I think Mr Shekhar Golcha missed out on Human Resource of Nepal/Remittances which are driving the economy of Nepal and also Agriculture. I think these are the 4 main pillars of Nepals 🇳🇵 economy which if managed properly can change the fortunes of this Nation within a decade or two.
GBIA : Failed project. Far too many issues from ILS to Air-route entry point. Where was the planning? God knows. Pokhara airport : 2500 metre runway. A320 airbus bhanda sano plane matra chalcha. 150 seatered plane with a maximum travel distance of 6000 km. It can only serve direct flights from Asian countries. 1. Now, with India being our main market, do you think, Indians will come on a plane or their personal vehicles, which is way cheaper for them. 2. What does Pokhara has to offer, apart from a lake view? The tourists say, well its a lake and that's it there is nothing else to do. ( Paragliding future is in question too). 3. Adventure tourism is much needed too. Otherwise, India has far better and infrastructurally sound Hill stations and lake views, compared to Pokhara or much of Nepal. 4. We should and we must learn to sell first and also learn to respect and be hospitable towards any tourists.
17:25 Yup we do have a blue print .... Propose project ... be transparent on the financials .... Make sure there are qualified people technical involved (( including financial , marketing , sales )) ....... use social media ...reach ur public ... make them understand ur vision .... then fucking IPO ...
32:40 We need to hurry up .....why ??? Because if UAE , Saudai , Qatar ,Kuwait had started their oil project in 2020 or 2030 instead of 1980-1990 .....they would not have been in this position ..... I mean we need to act when its time ....The only permanent thing is CHANGE .... there was a time of oil ....they used ...they benefited before its too late ..... I hope ...i pray ...that we act on hydro ....before its too late ....
By 2030 india is planning to generate 30-50 giga watt energy and Bangladesh is working on it. And we think we will be rich by producing 10,000 mega watt by 2030 Should we focus on using electricity to own industry.
Yup man ....felt that long back ... since childhood ....we have been saying hydro hydro hydro .... but if we cant make use of that resources .....it will go in vain ....
Let me put my 5 cents on the plate-china is free market socialist country which by every means people are allowed to make tons of money but for the sake of community and nations good.
