It worked!!! I had a small keiki growing on a stem that looked like it was browning and never developed roots. After cutting the keiki from the browning stem, I applied your method and in 3 weeks, new roots began to form! Thank you for helping me save my keiki! 🙏🏻 I can’t wait to see it bloom someday! 🥰

It worked!!! I switched a dying orchid to this growing method almost two months back, now I’m getting new roots growing down, the leaves are yellowing but the roots are growing and 2 new small leaves are growing,
This works without sticking the leaves directly in the water. The key is to provide good humidity to encourage root growth. It will work much better, without leaves dieing from being submerged into water and rotting. You can simply make a little humidity container out of the cups like shown here, plastic wrap, zip lock, terrarium, clear shoebox, etc. Put some sphagnum moss, rock, perlite, vermiculite, etc. at the bottom, and fill part way with water. Set your plant gently into the container with light, or no contact with the substrate and cover. You don't want the water to be too high and touching any part of the plant, as the water is only there to create a good amount of humidity. The key is the humidity. If you submerge the base or leaves of the plant, there is too much risk for rot.

У них там влажная духота,я в такой духоте умру раньше всех своих орхидей.Как только я сделала по его советам несколько процедур,стали дохнуть одна ща одной,20 лет жили орхидеи и все живы были,редко когда после болезни не до них было,но живы все были.А этим летом и осенью катастрофически насмотрелась,столько пропало,не передать словами.Спасибо,научилась уже на них смотреть не как на питомцев,а как на букеты,иначе можно было свихнуться от горя,подсчитывая убытки.

Do I need to change the water regularly?
@@bibousiq Sorry for the late response. I would change the water either every week or every other week, and I would make sure the leaves were halfway down into the water making sure the "crown" wouldn't touch the water. I had it under grow lights and I would check on it every other day just to make sure the leaves Orchid crown wasn't touching the water. Here is the method I learned this from, and Anna actually has three methods of saving Orchids. Good luck🤗🙏🏼
