2010/11: Brisbane Roar vs Central Coast Mariners (2-2) Brisbane won 4-2 on penalties
2011/12: Brisbane Roar vs Perth Glory (2-1)
2012/13: Western Sydney Wanderers vs Central Coast Mariners (0-2)

The 2015/16 grand final is special to me, the atmosphere, the match, watching Adelaide united finally getting its a league title after losing it twice to Melbourne victory
My goodness. What happen to the A-leauge? It used to be so lively with not an empty seat in sight, hopefully it becomes like this again.
Did you bump your head? The last couple were during covid, the stadiums were restricted.

Lucky enough to be at 3 of those.. 2006, 2017, 2020. Great memories. All those 3 were amazing but 2017 I’ve never experienced a better atmosphere ; on par with the Asian cup final 2015.
In terms of my non Sydney fave GF, can’t beat the roar at the death vs Mariners.

@@sped2942 he has 17 apps for Albania and after that refused to play for them despite being called up
Based on performances and the longevity he had in the A-League, that might be a fair call.
However, Del Piero, David Villa, Damien Duff, Tim Cahill and Daniel Sturridge are much bigger names that come to mind.

what a flop league and brand, first few years were ok because of the novelty of it even though the football quality was terrible, but last few years its so terrible you'd rather watch a local sunday game, you get more crowd there too.
And now they have killed off the league and the grand finals 🤡🤡
