GameFAQs was the go-to website for gaming walkthroughs and guides in the days before web 2.0 days, basically anyone could upload a guide to a game. It's probably not as relevant anymore, social media has made it virtually obsolete. Predominantly GameFAQs was text files of ASCII art and long prose lol, it was awesome.
