@jermainesmith4788 the LS3 heads lowered compression on the 6.0 4 inch bore my 2011 Camaro SS with a GM Performance LS3 495 on E85 made 430 to the wheels but ran 7.22 at 96mph in the eighth mile 1.70 60 foot with a 6L80e transmission with a Circle D 4200rpm lockup stall converter 3920 pounds with me in it full interior AC car street car with stock 3.27 rear gearing it has wicked throttle response gobs of torque throughout the entire rpm range pulls real hard to 6700rpm redline pretty quickly does 124mph in 3rd gear at redline 6700rpm and it has a ever so slight chop at idle drives on the highway at 80mph fairly quiet and mild at 2100-2200rpm like a stock LS3 it has longtube 1 7/8 into a 3inch X pipe into Flow FX 3 inch case mufflers it's not super loud idle to 2700rpm it's actually pretty mellow
You mean to tell me when you first test fit shutting the hood with this low rise intake that it was hitting the hood and you still decided to shut the hood ALL the way? I just don’t see how you didn’t initially see the intake hitting the hood.

I removed LS3 heads off my LS2 for some cathedrals. Power went from 435 to 480 rwhp

You need a shorter intake to fix that problem. New intake or cow hood? Depends on the look you're going for

Go with umi motor mounts itll lower the engine a lil
Get a hood with a 2 1/2 scoop and it will clear your motor before touch up paint

A cowl hood would be perfect and give it that aggressive look get a 2in and your gucci
