Azimut Verve 48: Testing the Extreme Performance🚀

- Is the Verve 48 the best boat that Azimut builds at the moment? Based on the Verve 47, which has been hugely successful, the new 48 builds on that formula and is improved in many areas.
In this in-depth sea trial and tour, Jack Hainss gets behind the wheel of the 1,800hp Verve 48 to see how it performs and what it’s like on board.
One of the major changes is the switch from Merucry’s raucous 450hp Racing engines on the 47 to triple 600hp V12s. These huge motors provide smooth, rapid performance and comfortably push the 50ft cruiser to 50 knots.
On board, the cockpit has been rearranged to create walkaround side decks to improve the flow of the decks and the ease of passage up to the foredeck. L-shaped dating dominates the aft end of the deck and the table sinks to create a sun pad and disappears into the floor. Below deck are two cabins split by a dinette, galley and large bathroom.
It may be the smallest boat in the Azimut range but it’s one of the best the Italian outfit has produced.

All I can say is booyah!! what a boat...great quality video as always 😊
Thanks Andrew, glad you enjoyed it! - Jack
That intro is absolute FIYAH!
💪🔥
I think this is an absolutely beautiful boat, love the deck areas so practical and great space, I was not expecting the below deck area to be much at all but WOW what an incredible space really spacious, I think they have got a lot into this boat. Great tour Jack thank you.
Glad you liked it, Sean, thanks for the comment! - Jack
And what do you think about the price?
Nice boat, thanks for the tour Jack.
Glad you enjoyed it! - J
What a well thought out boat! Has everything. As someone that lives in a more colder are, having a galley down in the boat is a huge plus.
Brilliant review Jack.
That boat looks an amazing amount of fun! Surprisingly practical too. Geeky, but I love the table’s ability to drop into the floor. What a great solution to the cockpit table - other manufacturers take note!
Interestingly that is not a new solution, and you can find it on some Italian boats from the eighties. I saw first on a 1986 Conam 36 Lupo di Mare, and then you can find on the Fiart 35 from later of that decade, which Fiart repeated on nearly all following models.
I love that they've chosen to do something different with the accomodaton! works awesome!
Fantastic boat , I love it !!
Stunning boat ❤ Great video YB team 🫶
Thank you 🙌
Amazing toy !
An awesome refined Italian beast!
Can't wait for the arksen 85 sea trial ! Great video btw
Thanks, glad you liked it! We're working on the 85 sea trial 💪
Yes please, that looks great fun and smart too, white engines though please. 😁❤️🇬🇧
Perfect
My fantasy day boat is a Dolceriva, but this gives that a run for its money.
That’s a serious party water ski boat.
nice
This is awesome. What ever happened to Carl? He just disappeared and never came back
If you had to choose between Verve 48 or Windy SR44, which one would you pick?
what happened to the ns42 sea trial video you mentioned in an earlier video 🤔
💪💪💪💪
What is this enormous beauty I see in 9:50? And I don't mean the one with the sunglasses 😉
How much is it please ?
It’s in the video @0:24: €1,150,000 ex VAT
Speedy Lady, but she appears very stable even when turning or going in a straight line. Seating in the cockpit leaves a lot of room to move around. Galley area good, makes it easy serving drinks food. She has plenty of shading over the cockpit. Front deck area again plenty of space.
Downstairs galley, two bedrooms, shower/toilet seating area good fay boat with ability to sleep 4 for a night or two..
It’s funny how everyone copy GALEON designs.Galeon 435 GTO much better boat for that price.
This boat precedes the Galeon…
@@Yachtbuyer with what? Price maybe. Galeon still better boat.
@@adrianwarzecha2923 Calm down dude, different boats. Galeon has an enclosed deck , this is a open walk-around boat. As Jack says, this boat came out before the Galeon, (that's what "precede" means, nothing to do with price).
@@basque888 I am calm down. What’s your problem bellend.
I can't understand how journalists FAIL to understand logic and maths. "Same horsepower..."
Well I beg to differ. 3X 600 is 1800hp. 4X 460 = 1840hp. NOT the same! The difference is 40hp.
Ok maybe it's not a lot of difference, but come on. Bigger boat, more and greater features (which normally means greater weight gain). So the boat is worse off.
Pay a million + for a yacht with a giant windscreen wiper in your face?! Seriously? What a joke.
Is your line of sight above that wiper when standing up?
@@adrianrubi5012 doesn’t matter but it sure didn’t look like it was out of the way. Automatic DQ for me. Not uncommon amazingly.
Along your line of thought all the appliances are easily aquired and at a low to mid range price, and set in plywood with 2mm skin. Its not a innovative design its crowded its a me too at an inflated price point.
