In my mind, when a sniper with one of the farthest confirmed kills hears this and he's drinking his Coke or whatever, he goes "Hold my drink for me" and calmly grabs his sniper rifle and leaves to find a target at such a range. I will concur that Babysitter from Halo Legends was really good, and sad at the same time. RIP Spartan Cal, just trying to keep the squad members alive and get them home.

This operation at first suffered the rage of GlorboDesh the god of Arma desync but cleared up as we went along and it resulted in quite a fun adventure on the halo rings. Hope you guys enjoy, more projects out soon!

I love how this mod conveys that unique rawness of Halo you don't see much of anymore that's just about a bunch of marine schmucks that are outnumbered and outgunned at every turn by a seemingly unstoppable alien empire.
While said shmucks are spewing out profanity towards the 6year old spartan
It's always a good sign when the mod maker says they have no idea what that was.
Imagine if these guy were canon to halo, and they were know as the immortal squadron.

@@rickmarinara5179 their entire AI personality core is just Bargain Bin version of Cortana which is why they're so freaking broken. After so many stimulation fights the AI when they're finally put into robotic bodies they have no comprehension of what even the slightest concept of human behaviour is. Just to accomplish the mission at all cost regardless of any sort of expenditure of money for materials required up to and including new replacement robot bodies for their server banks of the soldier memory cards

Well, if you are using slugs… you knwo what? Forget it.
I was a medic in a Squad based game and you could ONLY have a shotgun as the Medic. So you have to sometimes spam buckshot until a sniper dies or your team takes notice and kills then. But I did get a few with the shotguns while also running around patching up everyone and keeping them alive. The only problem was the idiots running ahead on their own taking up most of my supplies, so I eventually stopped and focused on the ones that remained with me or were still close enough for me to keep patching up easily.

Last time I was this early the primordials were still a thing.
Operation Trebuchet has to be the highest quality mods I've ever seen for a game. The Ops created with the mod are always awesome to watch. I pray that one day we'll get a dedicated Halo game like this but I doubt that will ever happen. I hope to participate in one of these Ops some day. Too busy with life to do so at the moment.

Covenant: 6 Hunters that have to be used by two characters in pairs at one to be used - unlock that can be earned and used at any time so all players have a chance to be a hunter. 9 Elites/Brutes depending on map acting as Officers. 10 Jackals divided between shield carrying frontline troops and Snipers. 10 Drones that are quick but can be easily killed on their own. Then 30 Grunts, with there being 24 at peak gameplay so the remaining players are split to be 3 Grunts under the command of an Elite or Brute.
UNSC: 8 Spartans that are treated like the Hunters so anyone can earn the ability to play them, but do not need another player to activate them. 20 ODST who are sent in at the beginning of the round before the other UNSC forces to secure locations ahead of them and dig in for the fight. While the remaining 30 Marines push up behind them to reinforce the ODST before Spartans arrive.
Can even change it up so randomized players for the UNSC are chosen to be the Spartans and are sent in first. And the maps themselves change the different vehicles that are available for use.
What I find most horrifying about the Halo universe (in expanded lore) is how hard the UNSC Marines stomp on rebels but then get absolutely bodied by the Covenant. Even the Spartans weren’t enough, save one. If Master Chief wasn’t god tier, humanity would’ve been dumpstered.
I would mostly chalk it up to the Covenant’s extensive use of shielding rendering Humanity’s kinetic weapons much less effective.
@@openthinker6562 early war was vs grunts & Jackals, Elites were a rare sight on the Battlefield
on the contrary. The UNSC did actually quite well on the ground against the Covenant, beating them or matching them on quite a lot of occasions. The problem the UNSC had was that they got fucking sealclubbed (i'm not even sure if THAT quite describes it) in space. Meaning that it doesnt really matter if they can match them on the ground, the Covenant will get space superiority and glass anything from orbit.

8:15 Fun fact: Kat Spartan type of armor was a lot weaker because her Spartan type was meant to be expendable
Well they were all spartan 3s other then jorge but notable spartan 3s were sometimes put together as a squad like noble team and given mjolnir MK 5 armor where other spartan 3s had a different armor better then ODST but worse the mjolnir mk4 and no shields but still a powered armor.
A sudden cut to vehicles just casually driving along like 7:07 almost builds more tension for viewers in the know than an artillery barrage would.

It's actually very impressive how well Halo fits into Arma, aesthetically. Not just the armour and weapons, but the general atmosphere of the game.
If someone showed this to me without prior knowledge of what I was looking at, I could easily be convinced that this was an early build of a new Halo game or something.

5:45 That elite survived a three hundred meter drop from a freaking starfighter, I'll count it as 'overkill' at the fourth MAC round.
I tend to watch old videos time to time and I seen a reference to kat it has been a theory that her energy shields have been comprised (Hence the weapon that killed her was so easy to drop her while with shields on it takes much more needles) I also think she was going to die anyways it is within canon noble team was being hunted the entire time (Seen when emile was assassinated from the back) It was a strategic move eliminate the smartest in the group first (I say kat first since jorge really died on his own terms instead of dying by the hands of the enemy in someway)

@rubrixraptor next time you grab one of the shotguns in trebuchet grab the M45 tactical combat because it uses 12 gauge The one that you had in the beginning used 8 gauge and is only good for close quarters unless using slugs

This video is basically all of Halo online vs in a nutshell...and what we were hoping that the next halo game after Reach would be after we'd seen the potential of Big Team Battle's 8V8. We thought we'd have even bigger teams. But nah.

I think it'd be cool to play a campaign where each player is a different co-op character from the whole series. (Chief, Arbiter, Johnson, noble team, blue team, red team, R'tas and the swords, Bucky and the ODSTs, etc.)
