This reminded me of my childhood story😂 So Sony Max used to air this movie every weekend and my parents would always say that this how we will treat them when they become old. This shit went on for a long time till Taare Zameen Par was released and my brother who was 9/10 at that time was a die hard fan of TZP. And everytime he would sit to watch that movie my mom would get pissed and scream at him 😂😂😂 cut to a few years and they actually sent us both to boarding schools. That shit was scary i swear 😆

Didn't Amitabh get pension after his retirement? And wasn't that enough for the two of them....given that they had a nice big comfortable house to live in? Another option could have been selling that big house and buying a comparatively smaller apartment and use the rest of the money for themselves.... And I bet that could have been a huge sum....

I had my own very touching personal experience revolving around this movie..During my summer vacations I used to visit my nana - nani(maternal grandparents) ..that one time I went to my nana’s room ..and I saw my nanaji watching that movie silently and to my recollection he appeared really quiet and sad and he was all alone at that time..I came to him and hugged him tightly..his face lit up he was so happy after seeing me and I later joined him to watch it ..Didn’t understand anything coz I was 10 at that time but his face 😢I can’t forget..Years later you understand some things better when you urself are mature enough to understand them 🙃..BUT TO BE HONEST ..it’s really wise not to see with parents ..He is right about that🤣
