Adrian, on your suggestion I subscribed to Farmer Phil. I have the disorder called OCD and your clean and organized Farm makes my day but Farmer Phil makes me upset. Your work is won. Wish I could follow you and give you a hand. Love you and your family from Texas.

Cheers, Adrian. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. When you were talking about the robins watching you got me kinda choked up. Same time of year I lost my dad 15 years ago.
The cow poking its rd the corner looking at wat her daddy is doing....funny❤ Happy christmas to you ur family and ur mum xx See you in 2025 with more great video's Love from the UK
Wishing you and the family a happy Christmas, I know it's going to be a sad one this year, I lost a member of the family a few weeks ago so I know.looking forward to watching more in 2025 x
That's a lovely batch of silage you've got there; I bet it smells amazing. It's got to be a load off your mind knowing that you've got so much quality feed for your cattle. Wishing you and yours a Happy Christmas.
You summed up that perfectly! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it but if you need to fix something it’s always advisable to adhere to the KISS principle ( keep it simple stupid or keep it stupid simple which ever you think is most appropriate) have as good a Christmas as you can but with children in the house the joy is almost infectious so let yourself be happy, that’s the best advice I can give. Happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year!
Keep your Head up and TALK to people because I know it's hard when you lose a Family member so near Christmas it doesn't feel the same. And take comfort in that your Dad knows that the Farm is in good Hands. You spend a lot of time by yourself so don't be afraid to talk to people because you're Mind can go into a Dark place when you're Alone with your thoughts.
Looking at that petrol scraper Adrian it would be a great project to covert it to an electric motor from a mower or golf kart. No issues with torque, instant to start, and far quieter if you're scraping the slats! Would make an excellent RUclips video too. Thinking of you and the family this Christmas Adrian well wishes from Co Down
Hi from a norwegian dairyfarmer. Here we most use roundbales, but partly because of all the plastic-handeling, and also the cost, i think silage- stack in pit is something to think seriously about for me. I wonder, do you use any ensilage- product, like different types of acid, in your silage? Thanks for interesting wiew into irish farming and rural life😊
Well Adrian, bad weather, great silage, lovely stuff ground very wet Christmas coming fast, hope u & your family have a great Christmas, sorry about your dad, condolences 🙏, great video, chat soon kieran from laghey donegal town.
Gidday mate You mentioned it smelt…. Lovely 🤷♂️ What does lovely smell like? Seriously!! It’s the mark, the truth. Of all the things that can affect quality, none matters if it high quality right. I was at the Alexander Turnbull library once with my mother who was researching something.I got bored and actually picked a book up! It was at random and it was old, really really old. I have never forgotten what my eyes fell upon on a random page of a random book. The art of silage, perseverance of grass! Long story short…. They covered with dirt and rated like this. If it smells of nothing,it’s quality is nothing. If it smells sweet,it’s good quality. If it smell of cider vinegar,it’s good. But if it hits the nose of sweet turning vinegar,it’s great quality. I was a NZ Ag contractor for years and i learned to never forget what I read that day. The top of stack isn’t a guide.Four foot down is compacted far better than the top,8 foot down even more so. I believe you truly get to rate your quality and your choices along with your seasons luck, once you’re at the middle of the middle.
Great video Adrian. Pit looks great, definitely robins are a sure and nice sign. Merry Christmas to you and all your family. 🎅🎅. Enjoyed watching all your videos throughout the year. 👍🏼👍🏼
Great vid sir.. glad your predicted silage was bang on... 😊.. hope you get a bit of nice weather on Christmas day to have a wander and talk to your dad.. a bit of piece in amongst all the goings on can be highly recommended.. stay safe sir 🏴
Good morning Adrian! Good looking silage pit. Not much waste. Well done! I wish you a Very Merry Christmas to your whole family. Still yet I'm praying for you all at the lass of your Dad. 🙏
Hi Adrian. Them Honda engine have a tendency to leak fuel into the engine oil alright. The needle in the carb doesn’t close the flow so it leaks in and contaminates your oil. I know it’s still relatively new, but you might be better off swapping over to a briggs engine. They give less hassle
Hi Adrian, with the fuel in the oil sounds like a defective needle and seat in the card, i have had to repair a few mowers doing the same thing caused by the ethanol in the fuel
Does the muffler have a spark arrestor? It may be gummed up with carbon. Many times a bit of heat with the torch will burn it off so the engine will breathe better.
Adrain. The e10 ( ethanol)in Modern petrol can cause problems to small Honda engines causing seals to leak.It would be worth buying premium petrol for a trial for the small amount that scraper would use to see if that solved your issue. In Australia you were told not to run small engines on it. We have serval consaws seize due to the use of e10 petrol that’s how I found out about it.

If you cover the pallet of gravel bags with some of the black plastic from the pit, that will keep the Ultra Violet light off them for a few months.
Only opening now plenty.silage this year
Great success rate of silage.
How you calibrate the dyna4?
Google dyna 4 calibration. It says it’s the same as the dyna 6 box.
