OpenMV IDE Dataset Editor

OpenMV IDE now features a dataset editor for building image classier neural networks! With our built-in dataset editor you can easily capture thousands of pictures for training up a CNN using transfer learning all within OpenMV IDE.
In the future, as we progress we will improve the dataset editor so you can markup an image for image segmentation, bounding box detection, and more!

First of all, I am amazed by the launch of this new feature. But whether it will continue to start the traditional self-collecting data, construct the network, train the model, convert the model to tflite format, and then call it on openmv. This method may be more general. Hope to make a breakthrough in this direction.

Hello Kwabena,can I upload pre-captured images into the dataset folder? Or will I only be restricted to training neural networks with images captured directly from the openmv cam?

Yes, it's just a folder on the drive.

No, ESP has never asked to be supported.

Edge impluse tutorial made it easier to understand, they explained there service and usage of your OpenMv Cam. Don't be so techie,it's not need.

Not yet. We are waiting on support from Edge Impulse for that.

Ok, just some advice, some of your explanation are too techie, If you could just simplify into layman's terms, it would help others that are interested in learning about tensorflow.

This presentation was not about TensorFlow, it's for an IDE that will abstract away TensorFlow. Plenty of videos on TF, you may need a bit more foundation, keep digging!!
