    Amazing interpretation! I wanted to play this with some friends of mines. I would have either taken one of the violin parts or the viola part. Unfortunately my friends aren’t really into Shostakovich like I am. **sad face** I get tired of Haydn and Mozart.

      @@eddisstreet yeah! Some players tend to only play the classics and shy from Shostakovich and Bartok due to the technical difficulties, rhythmic needs and strange harmonies. It takes someone being adventurous to fully enjoy the process. My friends, though amazing people and great players, like to play it more safe with the Haydn and Mozart. One violist I know won’t even play late Beethoven
