  • Nothing lasts forever.
    After approximately 40 years, ( going by the tree rings ) in late 2021 it was time to fell the pine trees that cover a small area on the southern end of the Rosneath peninsula.
    Work started at the end of 2021 and this video shows the progress that has been made up until the end of February 2022. Many of the previously planted fir trees are now felled with only smallish pockets remaining.
    Hopefully they will replant the are soon and we will see some new growth in the near future.
    Filmed using a DJI Mini 2 and edited with DaVinci Resolve 17 Studio.

    Planted in the early sixties, both my aunts worked in the forestry and one lived in Greenisle cottage whiçh was owned by the forestry
