The fact that he shows up in the exact same combat implies he was waiting just out of sight for his father to die, just to make his dramatic introduction
Sylvain, you forget - Ferdinand von Aegir had a year-long stint as a bard, a Daedric prince, and a gondolier before coming back to the realm of Fire Emblem to provide tea and refreshments to the Order of Heroes. He even got to sing his "Gonfalon Galliard" to Dorothea while she's having tea with Petra... :)
@@reesewhittington6778 Billy Kametz voiced a certain quest giver introduced in the Jester's Festival a couple months before he died. If you played Sanguine's Daedric quest in Skyrim, you'll know exactly who this quest giver actually is.
Fair. I feel like Sylvain and Dorothea annoyed him into joining for one singular session and he just kept showing up after that because he got weirdly into min-maxing.
Snowsie actually never played a Fire Emblem game, but she listened to Marianne's voice and said "yeah, I can do that" before knocking it out of the park.
Holy shit, speaking of Ferdinand Von Aegir The Second, who was the VA who basically fucking inherited the voice on Ferdie. I legit thought it was Billy and BOY did I found out at the end that it wasn't.
Max Herzfeld voiced Ferdie in this dub, and I couldn't have asked for better. When he recorded some practice lines, I swear there were times where he sounded JUST LIKE Billy Kametz.
I'd like to think everyone else had like actual characters, like different races names and backstories, but Ferdinand decided to make his character a self insert.
This reminds me of the Voltron: Legendary Defenders episode where Shiro was the epitome of uncreative and just did Paladin all the way home. He might not be as hammy as Ferdinand but they're similar enough in the creativity (or lack thereof) department.

That's absolutely a Ferdinand thing. No path? He'll make one.
Saw the look of consternation and just knew it was basically doing the infamous "Earl, son of Earl" story. That was great.
The Lineage of Earl?
I like to imagine this is a modern day AU but they’re just in full cosplay
I'm surprised Slyvain has the patience to be a DM. I could've swore he'd play as a charming rogue lol
I'm more surprised that Felix is playing DnD, let alone this invested in the story.
@@DTylerFultzVAI would be surprised and then I damn sure wouldn't be
@@DTylerFultzVAOh, please, Felix is a dork
I think Hubert or Yuri would be most likely to be a DM, and Hubert would have the same reaction here.
dont you mean bard?
The Ferdinand impression is incredible
I had to get him JUST right, and Max Herzfeld was able to meet the challenge. And I'm grateful for that.
@@DTylerFultzVA Props to the artist too, it is so like Ferdinand Von Aegir to pull a "LUCKILY, MY SON IS HERE TO AVENGE ME" trope XD
That just makes me happy
RIP Billy
I miss him too.

A DAEDRIC PRINCE???!???1

It’s a very sweet tribute. And Ferdie would so do this!
A great tribute. And I love the implication that Ferdinand said his phrase twice.
Honestly, Sylvain does seem like the kind of person to be weirdly good as a DM. I'm just wondering how he managed to rope Linhardt and Marianne in.
I'm more amazed that he got Felix in on it.
Fair. I feel like Sylvain and Dorothea annoyed him into joining for one singular session and he just kept showing up after that because he got weirdly into min-maxing.
As a fellow DM I could feel that pain. Though tbh I thought the paper was going to say "I will buy pizza" Or maybe booze one or the other.
Rip to the greatest noble of all time. We'll all miss your beautiful voice Billy
Every actor and actress did a great job. It's a beautiful tribute to Billy
Still sad.
And I just re-listened to Billy and Robbie singing "For Good" yesterday, too.
I love how Lindhart was just back there laughing lol
1:23 WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED!? Lol. This was pretty good.
As a longtime Ferdinand fan I’m happy I found this, the voices are on point! Thanks for uploading this.
Marianne sounded almost exactly like the VA…
Snowsie actually never played a Fire Emblem game, but she listened to Marianne's voice and said "yeah, I can do that" before knocking it out of the park.

Props to the comic maker and VAs cuz this is just perfect
Also I got baited into thinking Fern was actually ded which did not prep me for this
Who gonna tell them
@@bryanfan3175 It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize it was DND
This was fantastic!!
1:43 Rest in peace
XD the punch line!
It is VERY much something Ferdie would do.
Honestly, rather than "the second", I expected something like "I have been chasing that bastard for Identity theft for weeks!"
notice as DM; it's so stupid but playing it to the fullest is absolutely brilliant
Three eagles, two lions, and a deer playing D&D together. What golden route could have led to this outcome?
The church route where we recruit everyone but the Lords.
Im quite sure you can recruit all of these characters on every route.
@@MorganDeacetis Yep yep, there wasn't a lieutenant at the table so I think it all works out
Give the same vibe as the announcer from smash saying "Bowser... Jr~"
ABSOLUTELY IN CHARACTER. THIS COMIC AND THE VOICE WORK IS AMAZING!
He WOULD be that type!
And I love it!
I didn't know about Billy... I hope he knew he was loved
He passed surrounded by family and friends. He knew he was loved.
HE DID IT! HE SAID THE THING!
I'd like to think everyone else had like actual characters, like different races names and backstories, but Ferdinand decided to make his character a self insert.
RIP, Billy.
If only Ricco Fajardo would say that. If Billy were still alive, then Robbie would say “THERES 2 OF THEM!?@
he is the type to name his kid after himself
He is Ferdinand, son of Ferdinand
Happy birthday, Tyler! Hope you will have a big party over there with your family

I remember that episode, I freaking loved it.
Nah id love to actually see the characters play DND 😭
So would I.
That's sooo great
that’s so him
Happy birthday man!🎉
We are all Ferdinand von Aegir.
Weirdly enough, I feel like Sylvain would probably be the most fitting for a DM
