I'm making this now for my family . My bananas weren't as green, and I used coconut sugar instead.
Going to make it now
Thank you🙏🏻💙
@IAmJust Amanda You’re welcome dare, I hope you enjoy it. Let me know how it turn out.
Just made this it tasted good but I think I will use less oats next time as my blended mixture was very thick. I used 5 bananas but will try 8 next time for a more banana flavor😁. Thanks again for this recipe.
@Elsbeth Tascioni You’re welcome dare. I’m happy you tried and enjoyed the recipe. The oats just helps to thicken the porridge so you can definitely adjust the ratio next time.
So good!😍💪👍✌
Grate video.. I made banana porridge the other day but I boil the banana first then blend it.. I guess is the same result thou.. Nice video.. 😁
Thank you!
Ok that’s nice. I learn something new because I’ve never seen or heard of it done that way but we all have our own unique ways of cooking and the end result is what counts. I’m sure it turns out the same. Bless up!

@@AuthenticPlantbasedEats it is delicious , I love your recipe but I think I over do it with the sweetener .😂 keep videos coming.
😄 well I’m glad you enjoyed it! Definitely, more recipes coming soon, stay tune.
You can also use green plantain.
I wanna make this tmrw. Do you think I can replace the coconut milk with almond milk and where did you get the coconut condensed milk? I've never seen in stores. Maybe whole foods???
Of course, you can use any Plantbased milk. Whole Foods sell coconut condensed milk even Walmart. It comes in a variety of brands just ensure to read the ingredients.
@@AuthenticPlantbasedEats got it.
I wouldn't add condensed milk
Will oat milk bind the porridge as well? Thanks!
Of course, it will help to bind the porridge.
No problem.
Where did you buy the coconut condensed milk
I bought it at my local health food store here in Florida ( Nutrition Smart). If not available to you, you can purchase this brand online. Walmart and other local supermarket sells it and it comes in a variety and brands just make sure to read the ingredients.
Is it that the oats helps to make it thicker
Yes dear.
I don’t eat oats. Can I just omit?
The oat acts as a binder and thickener for the porridge since the banana on its own will be too watery. You can substitute the oats with a slurry which is made from flour and water to thicken the porridge.
Do you have to put in flaxseed? Looks delicious
Thank you! No the flaxseed is optional.
How much oats did u use
1 cup
So when you cover it with the pop cover doesn't the pot cover sweat and make the porridge watery ??
Gabrielle not necessarily. The trick is to not cover it fully if you do that's when the consistency may change worse if it was already thin.
Add meat that you'll make "mtori"
You’ve ruined it with the condense milk
Not the original. But it's good to do something new.
Definitely, a little change is good sometimes.
