I also grew up with ibanez guitars. But few years to the Fender side completely. One day, also tried Guthrie Govan signature Charvel and loved it. But after looking around specs, thought the Charvel MJ mahogany model would suit me best. Absolutely loving it it's been my main guitar ever since! And now looking to get this red ash Charvel too!
Beautiful guitar. Thanks for showing. Technical question: do you know the “ohms” on the pickups? they sound hot not passive. Makes sense if the output is high - it’s a shredders guitar.
Hey, the bridge pickup is Seyour Duncan Full Shred. It is medium output pickup, but yes, guitar sounds a kind of compressed and it is so great for shred. I played it on a couple of gigs, and it is so smooth and playable, but little noisy on single coils, so you have to be carful with adding amount of gain :)
I love Charvel guitars but my only gripe is their headstock logo. I hate it when they do not follow the line of the headstock wood and put it on straight, which is actually crooked. They have no quality control for this? I've seen the logo put on headstocks so many different ways.
Heey it is very interesting observation. I've never noticed that :) But, yes, it's right... now i can see that there is a kind of "free placing" logo. But, at the other hand, there is one more detail to make a guitar more unique :)
Heey thank you!! There is a few interesting reason for my choice :) In 2021. i watched new Charvel line video, and when i saw Snow White HSS DK24 I wanted that guitar and checked for availability on Thomann site. There were informations that guitar will bi in stock in 3-4 weeks. I waited for 2 weeks and than there was info update "Available in 36 weeks" or something like that, so I decided to buy an ash model. And the interesting fact is that Snow White HSS Charvel was NEVER available on Thomann until today :D
Thank you very much!! Guitar has been great set since i bought it, but i set the action just a little lower... very little. So, yes, ofcourse you can setup the tremolo and it is very easy. Tremolo is so great on that guitar.

Love that grain! My white HSS is "out for delivery" right now!!!
I just bought one. A DK 24 HSH. Amazing, can't stop playing.
Been a strat player all my life but as you stated extra frets good tuning etc so I got san dimas and DON'T REGRET very cool instruments
Yes, very reliable and powerful instruments. :)

Hvala puno, Tijane, faco!!! :D
Hi, thanks for the shred and info. Question: what made you get the ASH and not the Alder?

Hi, how about the action?? Can be set it so low whit out fret buzz?
Heey, Carlos! Yes, that is how my guitar is set. Neck is also for that kind of shred playing, so, if you like it, it is a good choice.
Nice playing! What about its action because of compound radius... Is it possible to setup this tremolo upper or lower ??
Thank you very much!! Guitar has been great set since i bought it, but i set the action just a little lower... very little. So, yes, ofcourse you can setup the tremolo and it is very easy. Tremolo is so great on that guitar.
Are the frets steel or nickel?
is it heavy?
No, it is lighter than Ibanez AZ, or Ibanez Premium.
