This was a fun video. Perhaps you could do another TOP 10 but with comics not from D.C. and Marvel; just for the challenge.👍

I wonder if any this comics has damage inside and people will never know, because nobody going to open. With toys you have a curious situation to unopened boxes, because a lot of the material (plastic, rubber) will degrade with the time, even in sealed toys.

This was a great way to spend 20 minutes . I'm a little surprised that Superman #1 didn't make the list . Almost as surprised as I was by how many Marvel Comics DID . I can't imagine what it must be like to own some of these Iconic Issues .I once owned the four modern Marvel Comics on the list , albeit in SLIGHTLY lower condition . (My Hulk #1 had a BB shot through Hulk's head 😁) But they were fun to own nonetheless . Absolutely entertaining video Gentlemen .

Nice Pele, to have those comics at one point or another. Just the Xmen 1 and Amazing Fantasy 15 is enough for me haha.

I remember back when I was a kid, Wizard Magazine had a list for the most expensive comics, and most of them are Golden Age DC books. Two decades later and we have Marvel Silver Age books on the list.
    Nice video. 👍

Knew Action Comics #1 would be at the top. Was surprised, but pleased at Amazing Fantasy #15 being so high.

Good List, hard to believe Spider-Man is worth more than Batman, I would have thought number two and three would have been switched but can't argue with those prices

It will be interesting (if not sad) to see what impact the virus and probable economic slump does to comic values. Some of these might actually be less valuable in a year or so.

Just Pelé I keep going back and forth on what I think is going to happen.
On one hand, I think that the graded comic market has been over-speculated for several years, and that we were due for a bottoming out soon. There has been an awful lot of flipping going on for several years... so much so that you can see an unnatural spike in values, which usually leads to a decline. The new economy that we are about to experience will probably trigger this event earlier than I was expecting.
On the other hand, there are many classic comics that I doubt will ever lose value for any real length of time, this includes all of the books on this list.
But I think most of the purely movie/tv driven first appearances and issues (Eternals, Morbius, Son of Satan, etc.) are going to tank hard, and relatively soon. And when that starts, I suspect that most of the run of the mill books will decline sharply as well.
Plus, with so much of the back issue market being driven by movies and tv, we are sort of at the mercy of it. So if the media fad ends anytime soon (and I hope it does not, because I like most of the movies and tv stuff), it’s going to drag a lot of interest down with it.
In the meantime, I have a bucket list of about 100 books in the 100 - 200 dollar range that I would be happy to pick up if the market goes sour, so I agree with your sentiment about getting access to books that you could not get before.

Love the books. But these prices show how stupid some people are.

So many errors in this video considering it was made only 6 months ago. The Detective #27 was a 9.0. There are now 3 Amazing Fantasy 15s in 9.6. There are books that sold long enough ago that they should have made this list. All Star #8 for almost $1 million. The Action #1 that sold on ebay was not from a pedigree.

Do you think the people that pay that much for comics are doing it for the hobby or just see it as an investment? Because I don't think I could be a millionaire for that long if that weren't the case.

The most valuable I have comic that’s the original not a reprint is Star Wars #1

Did Pele read them, or are they so rich they're never touched? Also, are facsimiles available, or digital copies?

Just Pelé Turning the pages of a comic worth $1 million sounds terrifying not fun. 😀

Digital Comics exist so you can read them there without paying insane prices.
