so nice to see this cheerful little interval Two ordinary blokes apparently enjoying a pleasurable walk in the English countryside, spring just promising Yet nothing ordinary at all in you two, just two amazing talents planning an amazing 2024. Good luck. . I was just a bit worried one of you would trip on the mud and steps and break a finger. So keep out of too much mischief please. I live in NZ, so unlikely I'll be able to get to hear you live, my loss.
What an enjoyable video! Thanks to you both for the schedule of upcoming appearances, and for taking us along on your walk. Lovely! I'm a devoted fan and look forward to a few (at least) videos of these concerts. All good wishes!
It's good to see you two so relaxed walking in a green place with birds singing! I'm very happy because you will have a year full of travel with incredible concerts and lots of people will be able to meet you in person! It will definitely be a great year for you both! ❤❤
Re offer to submit requests, the rest of Beethoven's 7th? I love your allegreto from it, and watching your version of the entire 5th is such a treat. And please do post second versions of pieces you already have posted on RUclips. For one thing, multiple versions is a way for us neophytes to better grasp how different organs sound, by playing the same place on different organs - or organ + piano. Thank you for planning to film so many of these!
Great VLOG, you guys are very lucky to visit and view the beautiful church’s and organs of the world. You are quite comical and have a special time with your life!
What a lovely place to get some fresh air. I love the way you two communicate, sibling chatter is fun. Thanks for the schedule of upcoming events, boy are you going to be busy. Wishing you safe travels and sold out venues, oh and thanks for going to my families' home town, Dumfries, Scotland. XX
Aka what's goin' down. 🙃 Glad your schedule is so full & looking forward to whatever you share with us. As usual, smiled & laughed throughout your trek & the cats were very attentive during the ornithological portion. Thanks for the update. ❤❤🎹🎶
Great to join you on your walk & talk! Thanks for sharing your upcoming schedule & the views of the country park. I knew it would only be a matter of time before Jonathan fell over!!! Whatever did your Mum say when you got back covered in mud (probably 'I told you so!!')!! Is there any chance we might get a RUclips concert at some point? Take care (especially Jonathan!)! xx
Wish you'd make it to the USA close by so I could get to see you live in concert. Someday perhaps? Anyway great schedule ahead. And I am enjoy all the books and learning a great deal indeed. VERY valuable and helpful. Thanks.
Busy Busy! I look forward to seeing clips of all these concerts - and really looking forward to going to - perhaps - 2 of your concerts in August September when I am back over there.
Thank you for another most interesting vlog. You may consider not traversing such "dangerous country", especially when wet. Jonathan' slip and his instinctive use of his hand to break the fall terrified me as you related the upcoming schedule. I took a similar slip a few years ago which resulted in a broken wrist and 4 weeks in a cast followed by another 4 in a wrist brace. The world cannot survive an 8 week stint without the dazzling "hand"iworks of Jonathan Scott. In an 8 week span, you can only do so much Yon on the pedals with an occasional left hand accompaniment. Looking forward to all the concerts this year, especially the "reunion" concerts with the renewed organs! Thanks for sharing but please consider the path--it was beautiful but the muddy walkways were scary, especially looking at some of the drop-offs downhill!! Thanks for being yourselves--not only displaying your amazing talents but also giving us a peek into the window of the Scott Brothers Duo!
I've been wishing to listen to "Ad Nos..."by Jonathan for so long. So I'm heading to Münster! Being able to listen to the Organ Symphony as well is such a stroke of luck☆ Looking forward to meeting you♪
Jonathan spoke briefly about “sample sets”. I can thoroughly recommend Hauptwerk and the use of sample sets. Without that facility on a 3 manual organ bought a couple of years ago I would have lost interest in playing the old Allen organ I have. If you are ever in SE Wales I would be happy to meet you and let you try the samples I have including Hereford Cathedral - you and Tom gave a recital there in the pandemic if I remember rightly - and very good it was too.
I would love to watch a recording of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony! The entire symphony is great, not just the famous first movement. That is a very pretty nature trail! So nice that it’s spring, though we are now going through a cold spell here in Pennsylvania.
New subscriber here loving your channel will need to binge to catch up. Also, the hymn tune Saffron Walden is one of the hymn tunes associated with the hymn, Just as I am,without one plea.
I am looking forward to the Munich recital . The Saint-Saens Organ smphony would sound fantastic at the great Jann-organ,. and another highlight of your program could be a piece by the Bavarian composer Max Reger ,for example op 57 or op 46 .
Just booked my ticket for Katowice! Great video - thank you! Was a bit worried about Jonathan slipping in the mud and injuring his leg(s)...is Tom up to taking over the pedals yet? 😆
This year there are many wonderful concerts. I'm looking forward to hearing them. But even better to watch it live. Hopefully the dates for us to watch will arrive soon. This year is promising! The start of wonderful musical series will begin... 🏁 🎼🎵🎶🎹📽 🙌👋❤💯🥰
How about preparing some piano concertos? Jonathan playing the orchestra part, of course. If you take a vote, mine is for Beethoven's Emperor concerto!
Tom really needs to get some exercise. 😄 Nice vlog. That's a really nice park there. I wish we had something where I live but too dry here. At least I'm not likely to slip hiking. But do be careful! It's nice to hear how busy you are spreading music across Europe. Maybe an out-of-left-field transcription recommendation is Mauro Giuliani's Grand Overture. It would be interesting to hear how Jonathan can expand the miniature opera overture into a full orchestral piece on the organ.
Just a thought - when playing one of those v large German organs in a great acoustic, how about The Prelude & Fugue in D (Hallelujah) by Franz Schmidt?
Jonathan, don't take on any more of Tom's dares, on such slippery ground! You need to protect every muscle and sinew in view of such a heavy schedule during this year!!
The camaraderie between the brothers is exemplary. Sorry it will not be possible to attend any of the in person concerts. Gravity is always a force to be reckoned.
It's going to be a good year for Munich Cathedral; Ripon Cathedral choir are visiting in July and Jonathan Scott in August.
Thank you both for bringing such beauty, joy, and peace into our worlds!

It's hilarious how Jonathan gets the giggles now and then

Nice vlog and to hear of your varied upcoming musical adventures for 2024 . You are certainly both going to be very busy !
I'm exhausted!

I did not know that Canadian geese were to be found in Northern Europe. Hello from Southern California.
What a list!
Please keep going... Best Wishes... From Janet xx
I agree with Tom, I'd love to hear more piano duets.

@@epincion thanks! Didn’t know that.
Thank you for a wonderful vlog. Please can you post on RUclips your piano and organ arrangement of Warsaw Concerto. 😊😊😊

Women got the vote in 1920 in USA!
Maybe I'm visiting the concert in Munich, since it's 2h from my home town. Would love to hear some Wagner or the Planets there. ;) ^^
