Very cool colorway, wish it wasn't so rare. I have a non-vx one and it is my go-to tech pouch. It is sitting here right next to me at the cafe with all my dongles and stuff. I see your point about the zipper, but just think of the orientation as EG telling you that you're wrong and get used to it - just like a vertical pocket. Good stuff!

I have a Peak Design backpack but ordered this pouch for it. The PD tech pouch seemed too specified for tech gear with too many small pockets that I would never use, whereas this one could support a variety of tech gear but also travel items. I wanted a pouch that would be useful for the office and travel both tech and misc. items. This one seemed like a very dynamic option. I hate the price though. 80 bucks after shipping and that’s inside of the US. Still looking forward to getting it in the mail!
I switched to a Side By Side Power Packer because I just don’t have enough stuff for the CAP at the moment, but it is seriously a great bag I’ll use as soon as I need more stuff.
2 years later and I am sad to say that this is the only version i actually want. Part of the pheonix collection? Anyone know where i can purchase this xpac hot orange version? Is it possible to find?
If the xpac one came with Phoenix patch i might’ve bought it on second hand market already…but $150 (marked up price) for a pouch without the patch seems way too much. Wish they’d just sell the xpac version directly; seems to be half the weight and more water resistance.
I wanted to get the black x-pac version of this pouch, but at a 100 bones, didn’t seem worth it to me. I use the remote equipment org kits, and for less than a 100 bucks you get 2! and they are awesome. you should give them a look if you haven’t already.
I love that orange! I can't remember, have you tried the MW Archiv tech pouch? I don't think it would fit your camera, but man I love that thing. I got it in DMC to match all my other gear and even though it's larger than what I used to carry, it's really satisfying to use. It's been my go to for months now. The bonus is that I can slide it on rails, or pack it in.

I only have the long magic keyboard with the number pad. That definitely will not fit haha. Even my 60% layout keyboard isn't close to fitting. Hope that helps.

The one thing a like about Evergoods compared to other brands is the stitching per inch, ensuring seam strength. My Goruck from 2011 is the same.
I don't get along with their bags as much because of the orientation of the pockets but otherwise they make some great stuff.

I've never tried a power packer but would love to some time. My normal tech carry is pretty minimal.
if you have two zipper pulls, don't you have to unzipp both sides? isn't it easier just to use grab handle and open one handed?

This colour way was part of a Carryology collab. Can't be bought new anymore but they will probably float around on the secondary market.
It will be nearly impossible to find one - even on the secondary market. The standard version is still amazing though!
