The saddest thing about this film for me, apart from seeing how far the X-Men fell, is that Charles and Logan, two absolute legends and probably the two best known X-Men, were buried in unmarked graves, and no one knowing where.

I remember watching this movie. The movie ended at about 1 am. Driving back home with a heavy heart. Knowing a part of my childhood is over. My hero, the greatest hero Wolverine rested. I remember it like yesterday. This song was made for Logan. Nobody other than Hugh Jackman can ever come close to playing Wolverine.

With the plot of the movie "Logan", it's really a deep and gloomy song.
The summary of Logan’s whole life. I remember crying watching this movie in theater.
Seeing this with my Dad & wife in IMAX was such a treat. My dad stayed locked on the screen the whole time and left speechless. Superhero movies were our thing - every May from 2000 til 2019 (Thanks C-VID) & I miss it so much. We went to the movies EVERY Tuesday was almost 25 years in a row & was OUR thing.
Logan is my favorite Super Hero movie of all time. My father loved them too. Take care brother man.

no happy middle
no happy end.
He was sad all his life, but its a testament of his strength that he never actually turned in the freak he always thought of himself to be. 2 centuries worth of pain, suffering & loss yet he managed to keep going on & fight to protect other. Logan was a real man.

One of my favorite movies, from acting, detail, pacing, and emotion. Logan was a man with nothing to lose but Charles and after him, Laura. He's experienced what he can't unsee, but in the end he's glad he didn't get to see another friend die and is proud that's the last thing he'll see
He lived long enough to see himself as the villain. He redeemed himself by saving those kids one last fight. He knew his time was nearing the metal in his body was poisoning him way too much for his powers to work, he had reached his limit, he lived his life through regret, revenge and being betrayed and mind manipulated. He did kill everyone by being mind-controlled. As he saw it that it was his hands that did the killing, he blamed himself. You can tell in this movie he was at his last end waiting and wanting to die.
it was not just the ending of a movie, it was the end of the childhood and youth of a generation. Thanks Logan, for reminding us that one day we'll come and die despite the superpowers we once had.

Look man, you are far from the first person I've had to tell this, and you likely won't be the last, but this information is easy to find and you obviously have access to the internet... so please double check your information if you feel like you aren't 100% sure of yourself (or even if you do feel 100% sure, it's good to check again anyway when it takes literally a 5-10 second Google search)
Logan was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2018 Academy Awards (it is 2019 as of this comment, so last year's Oscars). It did not win, and wasn't nominated for any other categories. Best Adapted Screenplay is a different category from Best Picture. Even besides all of that, Logan was released in 2017, so was only eligible for nominations at the 2018 Oscars anyway. There is no way it would show up as a nominee at the 2019 Oscars.
Although, I do agree that Black Panther being a 2019 Best Picture nominee is pretty fucking embarrassing, especially when there were *so* many other great/better movies that were released in 2018 that didn't even get nominated for a single Oscar category, let alone for Best Picture... The Academy Awards are shit and always have been. Another example being, Bohemian Rhapsody won Oscars for *both* editing categories despite the literal *hundreds* of unnecessary jump cuts present in that movie. It's just an excuse for a bunch of rich people to get together and circle jerk each other in regards to how great and progressive they consider themselves to be. It is only a façade that the show is a celebration of movies as an artform, or at least is only slightly true by now.

grew up on the Wolverine since the beginning... watched Origins Wolverine like a hundred times.. about 5 years ago it was rainy night and a tough period i was 7th month all alone at the hospital watching Logan on my phone, it was first time i cried of a long time because i knew Hugh wouldn't continue... looking back at all those years as flashes.. damn i cried hard.. we all get older...

I think instead of recasting Wolverine, they should have Laura carry on the mantle. It would make it respectful and not spit on Wolverine's legacy.

Not an exaggeration. Avengers is a circus consisting of 5% acting and the rest is good-makeup. Logan was a symphony of emotions, strung together with excellent acting abilities of some of the finest actors. Actors weren't hiding behind stupid costumes and masks. Logan kicks Avengers ass any day!!

This movie was not made to pander to cotton candy eating audiences coming to theaters to just while away time. People genuinely acted in this movie and you could ACTUALLY see it on the screen.

Would you prefer watching X-Men movie over Avengers? If you think Longan is an actors movie because of excellent acting and it has the finest actors. You clearly need to watch some acting movies. There is something called charector development, which takes time. How can you compare a plot that revolves around a single character, has lived for 2 centuries and is at the final stage of his journey, to a plot where there is a universal threat and requires an army of superheros to assemble? And then calling the individual charector movie better than the movie which requires the whole Marvel cast in it(circus), that too because of acting! Any superhero death movie is going to be an emotional one, it's the plot which makes it. If in future a movie where a charector like Spiderman or Captain America dies will it be an epic movie because of the plot or 'symphony of emotions strung together with excellent acting'!? Remember in comics wolverine, X-Men and fantastic 4 where part of the Avengers: Infinity saga.

Easily the best Marvel movie since they started them. Endgame was also a diamond, but if you are a little older and you have watched many films you can tell the difference. Logan was nothing like a superhero movie, it was a tragic reflection of an actual dystopia merged with the idea of mutation we knew all these years from the X-men. Logan was like God of War 4 for it's franchise, a final visit to the world/characters that was meant for the people that grown up watching/reading the X-men... well done Marvel. Hope they do movies like this again one day.

I tried to be hard while watching this movie with my girlfriend but i gotta tell you I cried like a little child. A father trying to protect his daughter against all odds. At the end I shattered and I'm not ashamed she saw me like that.

Just a few days ago i watched this movie and didnt know about the X men and all movies...i randomly choosed this movie to watch after finding that this man has a some blades on both hands made me think to change the movie because i wanted to watch simple movie without action as i dont watch movies but i thought lets watch for few mins then i would change the movie movie...but laura entry's was interest for me to watch.....bro in simple words....i really fuckin love this movie...after watching the 1st time i had watched this like 6 times ...lol...what a fuckin movie ....this movie really made me fall in love hugh jackmen and laura(dafne keen)....thanks for reading :)
