It depends on your trading style. If doing intraday, prefer in 5 or 15 min time frame, if swing then daily time frame, if short term to long term then consider weekly time frame

Golden cross and Death cross works best for longer timeframes (1day, 1 week). You can use smaller timeframes if you plan to hold the stock for a few days. For intraday this strategy is not usually used. For intraday you can use 20 and 50 SMA (or EMA) crossovers with 5 or 15 min timeframes

this is just a theory u put buy and sell back when crossed legs. in reality, no one did that because it never happen in live trade.

I use this for knowing the trends. You don't want to trade against a trend as you will just lose money.
