in SDR2 monokuma mentions the death count of 2,357 as a mass suicide and it can be assumed that it adds up to 2,359 based on Twilight Syndrome explained also in the game.
included despair arc because the suicides and twilight syndrome actually play out during it, but I'm not sure if they say the number in that too

You can really feel how much love and effort was put into this.
Munakata being just a sad Markiplier fan would have been a better character arc and on-brand with the kookiness of Danganronpa and his character resolution is that he watches Jacksepticeye instead, like it's revealed that Ireland is one of the only functioning countries after the Tragedy.
I really wish that Tsumugi would say "It's Kazuo Tengan! I mean, it's always been him."

I am so on board with the thought that Tengen was the cause behind anything and everything. Damn near lost my guts watching this - loved the analysis too! You and Austin really outdid yourselves, even though I will admit that A-Kuma could've been handled more gracefully (IMO).

The Great Tengen Meltdown, An event that is more impactful than The Tragedy.
At a certain point, I started to feel that the lobotomy joke was overdone, and yet I continued to laugh every time.
Fun watch to add to my rabbit hole of the Danganronpa series, only watching this after an hour of finishing Danganronpa 3…
