I"m a Reiki purest at heart too. I was trained in 1991 to Takata style Reiki from Rev. Beth Gray, one of Takata's 22 masters. She was a very intuitive person, and she encouraged both her Level 1 students and her Level 2 students to listen to their hands, their ears, and their hearts. We learned Beth's version of Takata's foundation treatment, and to this day, though I'm now a Holy Fire master, I still teach level 1 with hand positions, don't move your hands until they turn off, and be mindful of what you're feeling in your hands. I like to think that I take the best of what I learned of "traditional" Reiki and the best of the HF/AR/KR ICRT systems and blend them into something good. I like to teach the foundational treatment method for Level 1 and Level 2, and then I teach the Japanese Reiki techniques in master. Why? Because of this pedagogical quote "We teach you the rules so that later you know how to properly break them." I don't want people new to Reiki getting hung up on whether they're doing the right hand positions from some Japanese intuitive technique. It's like when you teach children. You say "this is this" and "that is that" and you give them simple rules to follow that train them to think systematically. Then later, in Master levels, you can open the can lid and let them start doing intuitive hand positions, knowing from experience that their intuition via their hands could be real and useful, so so could their other claire senses,
I could listen to you for hours: it's like being among friends 💚 I have been building my relationship with Reiki for six months and can't wait to attend the next class!
Thank you for sharing this video Andrea..interesting stuff . It's good that we can just ask the reiki to be with us . And we are never alone , when we ask . Great to bring it in when doing house work the gym, walking . It truly is a gift . Creating an relationship with the energy is a great idear..look forward to your next video lol. Fiona.
I have woke up and found myself trapped (for now) in a narcissistic co dependent victimization web. Try practicing reiki on narcissists omg! You get shut down really fast when they feel it & know it’s real. Back to one. ❤
