Tutti Frutti juicer - Restoration

- Hi friends,
in today's part I have prepared for you a beautiful old cast iron juicer Tutti Frutti with serial number 198. Height per handle 50 cm, weight 4.85 kg! I bought this grinder for an advertisement like most other objects that I renovate.
A juicer (also known as a juicing machine or extractor) is a tool used to extract juice from fruits, herbs, leafy vegetables and other vegetables in a process called juicing. Crushes, grinds and / or squeezes the pulp juice. All original Tutti Frutti fruit presses are twice pure tinned in the fire under strict control. The use of lead, zinc and other metals harmful to fruit juices in the production of Tutti Frutti is excluded. At that time, the original Tutti Frutti was the result of many years of experience spread across the country and the most proven fruit press.
Some types of juicer can also act as a food processor. Most of the double gears and horizontal kneading juicers have accessories for crushing herbs and spices, extruding pasta, noodles or sticks, making baby food and nut butter, grinding coffee, making nut milk, etc. (source wikipedia)

I'm uploading videos about restoring mechanical things. I'm uploading videos about the restoration of old wooden things. I fix things as best I can. I am self-taught. Therefore, if some procedures are wrong, forgive me. Thank you.

00:01 Introducing the juicer
00:30 Disassembly of parts
02:05 The juicer body was originally riveted, but also cracked in several places and it was necessary to remove the rivets so that I could weld the juicer body.
05:10 We put the welded and ground juicer in the fire to equalize the tension between the material and the weld and prevent it from cracking again.
05:45 We clean all parts with a wire wheel.
07:24 Since my juicer lacked some parts, it was necessary to make them. For example, I used the bottom of an old oxygen bottle for a juice spout.
12:55 We have finished the sink and it is still necessary to make a drain and at the same time a tightening piece.
17:06 Everything is ready for new tinning with food tin. I assigned this operation to a professional company that does these things.
17:15 Instead of rivets, I chose screws for possible disassembly and thorough cleaning. And the assembly of the juicer itself followed.
20:00 Thanks to my Patreon partners for the contribution I will use in the future to purchase sandblasting equipment.

One of the trickier restores, so much more involved than just cleaning and painting, you actually had to make a lot of it! Fabulous to watch!
Thank you Sean :)
That's the differenze between a "Tool Restoration" and a "Perfect Tool Restoration". Great job.
Thank you very much Mauro :)
I agree. I know another good channel called "My mechanic", take a look if you want!

Love the logo over the welding! Thank you!
Thank you Ida :)
This was a time-consuming, involved restoration. Most people would have avoided this restoration because of the need to fabricate missing parts. I'm glad you made it like new. Using an old oxygen bottle to make the missing spout was ingenious and well-done. The homemade scribe of wood and screw that you used as a guide to cut the base is a clever idea. Thank you for making an enjoyable kitchen tool useful again. Smiles and best wishes from the USA.
Thank you so much Pat for the beautiful comment. Have a nice rest of the weekend Radek and Veronika
Don’t think a restoration video ever made my mouth water before. Great work, thanks for the video.

Oh my gosh Radek, as usual, excellent work! Especially since you had to create a critical part that was missing. I always learn so much from your videos, thank you again Sir.
Thank you very much :) Radek
I am always impressed with the work you do with just basic tools. Really! Tempering the welds in a fireplace....just so clever and basic.
Thank you. Not everyone has a fully equipped workshop at home. I want to show that it also works with basic equipment. Have a nice day from the Czech Republic Radek.

Comme d'habitude très beau travail 👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏
Je vous remercie Patrick :)
Wear "safety glasses" on a screwdriver set..amazing lol
The tool could slip and can poke your eye out. Try to think for once!
Instructions unclear, I have a screwdriver in my eye and am finding it hard to type this.
This one blew me away with the amount of fabrication that needed to be done! Excellent restoration. I have to admit the name "Tutti Frutti" made me chuckle. I can picture this used in the early 1900s in a well to do household with servants.
thank you
@@VeradonaRestoration I concur and you are a genius. Do you drew up plans before each project?
@@rosellabill No, everything comes gradually. Mainly renovation, because you never know what awaits you when you divide the item :)
You are very good. Love your videos. Everything gets so nice when it's gone through your hands. You get really inspired to want to do something yourself after watching your videos. Thanks for everything. Hug from Gothenburg Sweden
Thank you very much Annika :)

great work - but nothing else was to be expected from you anyway!
it is nice to see that you are actively using your restorations, not „dont touch - just for viewing“
Thank you Martin. But sometimes I'm sorry to demonstrate the functionality of a thing that is restored for a museum. (extra work with cleaning)
It's very cool, yes nice work, thank you very much😍😍
I thank you :)
to už není ani obnova ale hustopřísná rekonstrukce!! Jinak práce s COčkem, flexou, soustruhem i frézama.. respekt!! jinak kde se tohle odehrává?? že bych se přijel kouknout naživo..
Díky Lex :)
Come sempre ...fantastico.super
Grazie :)
great job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
thanks
Really good job!!! gratss
Thank you Alberto :)
Have u ever thought about using a TIG welder? I think it would be way better for your small restoration jobs. It would give u a better penetration, more control in the small areas, a better finish, and would save u a lot of time grinding.
It seems technically more complicated to me. TIG cast iron likes to crack, it has to preheat, there is a lot of stress. But maybe it's just my opinion.🤔
Muito bom, ficou perfeito!!🇧🇷👍👍👏👏
Obrigado Ezequiel :)
Holly Crap Balls great job love that u show it working.
Thanks Alan :)
Cool!
What was amazing how you recreate the bottom
Thanks Jesus :)
Ficou maravilhoso !
thank you
Tolyn :))
bravo !!!!
The juicer recommended by Little Richard. He passed on May 9, 2020 so I wondered if there is any connection to this video coming out a week later? I like watch the food and drink device videos so I can see what Veronika makes with it at the end!
I'm sorry I don't understand the question (translation)
Du bist ein Fachmann und sehr schlau.
Vielen Dank :)
Brilliant as always! I have a number of old cookie cutters that my late mother gave me. I want to restore them, what is that "food tin" you used to get the processor so nice and shiny? I think my cookie cutters would look great if I apply that once it is cleaned up. Thx.
Thanks Brian, but I don't understand the translation exactly.🤔
@@VeradonaRestoration Pity, what language do you speak? I will see if I can get someone to translate my message.🤗
@Veradona Restoration
Radek.
Sarah️
@Brian Brown
For me, GoogleTranslate was changing "tin" into "can" when I reverse translated it. I think that was the issue. I put it as "tin-metal" and I think he should be able to figure it out now.
Cheers from Texas
Sarah
@@DiamondDustAndVerdigris Greetings and Thank you so much @Sarah. I really appreciate your assistance. I would love to hear from Radek.
Why did you not use the other end of your tank as it already had a funnel shape built in. ?
Great!
thank you Nathan
Little Richard would be proud.
Thanks :) 🤗
How much you charged for this restoration. Heck of a hard work and creativity

@@VeradonaRestoration great man I wish to God one day your program broadcast on TV.
Craftsman!!
I was hoping that you were going to pass the Popsicle through the screen, NUTS!
13:44 you can use this as fertiliser its very good try it
yes fruit waste goes into compost
@@VeradonaRestoration I'm talking about iron leftovers after grinding
How can idiots not like something as skilful as this restoration???
Thanks Martin
Great job, do you sale anything you restore?
Mostly no thanks Leroy :)
I like it
What did putting it into the fire do?
Balance the stress of the weld.
1.000 thumbs up for you
Wow, thank you Leandro :)
You used to censor welding. I got caught off guard. 🙂
Looks like a transmission
