No hate to anyone who worked on the game, I assume Sega just wanted whatever would make the most money. I'm just one guy who hates simulators and this is just a running simulator with a Sonic skin.

this games actually one of the better simulators for me personally, while most are just "PRESS BOOTON AND DEN GO SELL" this one personally feels more engaging

lmao theyre the ones who MADE the game the fan game just ripped everything from unleashed so they technically did make an actual sonic game
In my opinion, this becomes pretty fun once you grind for a little. It's only boring before lvl 25 on the first rebirth. After that, it becomes hella fun to run around with no actual goal in mind.
The sound effects, ui and most models/parts of the map feel like something you'd expect from a sonic game, and that makes it cooler. Also, the possibilities with spin dashing and homing attacks are plentiful, and using them is amazing once you get the hang of it.
My only complaints are that the homing attack feels underused and underpowered (its only useful for a quick burst of speed and for traveling across gaps, and the spin dash cancel does both better), the Lost World and Emerald Hills feel emptier than Green hills (I don't have snow valley and onwards, so I don't have a opinion on that yet) and the progression of pet/trail strength through worlds feels slow and not very worth it.
Also tails and sonic don't have special abilities that make them worth getting so thats also something

Snow Valley is just really unfinished looking, barely anything there, only a few ramps and loops and just really boring to play on

The Sonic world adventure fan game is so much better than the simulator one
the game is really good. The only bad thing is that for new players they gotta suffer 15 minutes of grinding nonstop to become fast, but after the 15 minutes you can like go super fast around loops and it becomes really fun

If you think this is Grindy then you should play creatures of sonaria, the stuff that's like a step above common can take like 5-10 hours of grinding and that's the cheap stuff were talking abt here

They did say they are working hard for a lot more skills and bosses, tracks and characters so that is a lot of fun, momentum physics are also really nice so overall it's decent, yeah the fan game is praised a lot for being so shockingly good with the Roblox Engine, but I must admit they did kinda knocked it out of the park for a simulator
The game is agonizingly slow in the beginning, but once you get high enough level it actually becomes really fun. The game rewards momentum, so you can experiment with loops or spindashes to go even faster

I played this and it’s actually pretty fun
Sonic speed simulator is really fun once you get better and at least level 100 or more because you get faster you can get rings faster you can win the race and more fun stuff like characters and trails trust me it’s fun
I love how they ignored all the good games and went for "sonic speed simulator" with no issues

Actually, that robot chao you saw is a reoccurring character throughout some sonic games. The character follows sonic and often appears on the menu screen to give the play hints, He is well known to be annoying in the games as he will likely give hints once every 3 seconds, and even possible the same hints you already know.

I kinda like it because the controls are pretty spot on and fun, and has some replayability especially with the updates that are coming soon. You can also achieve anything in the game with paying really any robux in probably a couple of days. But thats just my opinion so yeah
early game is long but it gets enjoyable in the midgame because your going so fast,
the pets bonuses are so tiny ur better off with ur first one but to be faster, just go evolve your pets instead because its better.

Also the main game actually has most of the same mechanics like targeting for the double jump you just need to go to different obbys and worlds as the smaller fan game
I haven't played this game myself but just from seeing others it seems like a lot of people like it while true sonic fans don't. I see mixed reactions about it and honestly, it looks like a sonic pet simulator to me
