This is the best video I have ever watched. This man just described the journey I am on right now and made me feel a little bit less lost!

Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to you for doing these interviews with Sheldon about Terror Management Theory. I read his papers but this really helps the work come alive and helps me turn others onto these ideas. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

"...dangling on the precipice of oblivion." I love the way Sheldon speaks. Though his ideas are profound and intriguing, his propensity to deliver them in an eloquent and artful fashion is perhaps even more impressive!

@@cathalsurfs He speaks in such a condensed and meaningful manner. Solomon is a stellar communicator.

Im trying to recognise in myself if I have any significant 'death anxiety'. I don't fear death in a sense, I fear pain...but I don't think I fear not existing. Sounds depressing when you put it that way. Maybe there is some subtle phsycological behaviours in myself that i am not regocnising as 'death anxiety'. Something to ponder.

    One question.
Is the devaluing of others done by malignant narcissism a defense against death anxiety?

This question is what led me to Sheldon!

Let's ignore the positive aspect of having faith and trust in an ultimate reality, which some call God.

Please don't say he said to "Just accept death." Because that doesn't help me.

Your comment exemplifies his whole line of enquiry. Accepting death will help you, when you realise death doesn't need any help, accepting you.
