What are you going to do for nap time for darrin (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) now that he isn’t in a crib?
We’ve cut out nap🙃🙃 he usually can’t fall asleep during “nap time hours” and he’ll sleep on the way to get Landon from school and back home so about an hour. Then some days he won’t nap at all so😅
Oh my I do that with my sons clothing allll the time. They always look bigger then they are 😂😩

you are doing a great job especially keeping boys in the room. I am also mom of 4. i have 5 year old boy, 3 year old girl and 11 months old twins. my kids still sleeping with us and never want to go to sleep in their room. even i put them in their room, they keep coming and crying to sleep with us. babies also is in our room in their crib. so my night time routine is little caothic. i hope one day i will able to get this kind of night time :) i love your videos btw.🥰🥰

I love your videos so much you're such a big inspiration and amazing mom and unconditional love you have for your little ones always a big smile on my face every single time I watch your videos...... I know it's hard a life of a busy mom and truly understand especially when you have four little ones. Children are truly a blessing from above someone had asked how do I do it I always love to give a help in hand what I mean by that is I have raised my sister children from newborns because she did not have time for them but I never ever excluded them from seeing a mom when they needed to my husband and I hey will you we adopted them. So now she has for little ones and they are toddlers her first son is a boy and his name is T'wayne he is 6 years old, Justice she is 4 years old, Jordan she is 2 years old, and little Zara was just born December 15th 7 lb 4 oz and 19 inches long.... Just got this little one down. Baby smells so sweet it's so soft and so innocent they grow up so fast but like I explained to everyone everyone is different me these children can grow up to be anything and want not only that we teach them the best of our abilities we can also learn from them the unconditional love we give to them trust and believe we will get it back I see that through your eyes and your voice and that's why I love your videos so much I just want you to know that. Though I do not know you personally just wanted you to know that I love you may God continue to bless you and your family and always looking forward to see you next videos and you have a very merry Christmas stay warm it's cool down there. 🥶🙏❤️😊

No one probably will answer but I’ll try: how did you teach your kids to fall asleep on their own and what do you do if they wake up crying at night? What do you do when they are teething? Thank you so much in case you do resound.
It’s taken me a longggg time to get where we are now. This is also new for me as well ( them all sleeping alone) up until a couple weeks ago Landon slept in my room. Darin had a hard time being put to bed and me leaving the room. I want to make a video on this because I get asked it a lot! But I basically did everything I was told not to lol. I don’t do cry it out. If they’re teething I’ll rock them until they fall back asleep then lay them down and repeat. I try not to use medicine unless it’s really bad. I don’t want to use medicine multiple times a day for weeks yanno. I also put a small tv in the older boys room. It got to the point where I was desperate to make them love their room and feel safe sleeping in there. Landon would get scared a lot. But they fall asleep watching a short movie. That helped so much. Now I don’t even need to play a movie and they go right to bed. A lot of trial and error and finding out what works for us. :)
@@MadelieneVanMarter you have no idea how much you’ve helped just by saying those things: being honest that it took awhile to achieve it. I keep watching other moms and their kids are all so great in this and that that it makes me feel am I doing something wrong to my child that he is so needy:), etc. whew. It comes from you-a mom of 4 - so I have hope now. Yes, absolutely do the video on how you taught them sleep independently, etc. Thank you, Madeliene , more than you know!!!!

Can I please ask how you prepared your two year old for a new baby? Currently 24 weeks and my son turns 2 next week. It hurts my heart that his whole world is going to suddenly change with a new baby because he doesn't understand.
With Landon I kept pointing to my stomach and saying baby. I’d also show him the diaper box that had a baby and point to that and then my belly. So when Darin was born he knew it was a baby. I also didn’t make a huge deal about it when Darin was born. I tried to keep the same routine with Landon and that helped!

Madeliene, I am so happy I discovered your channel some weeks ago. Lincoln and my daughter are only 3 weeks apart. So when I watch your videos I feel like sharing the newborn moments with a good friend. Sometimes I am overwhelmed with my two kids, watching you handling four kids gives me the courage to get trough that tough time.

Aunque ya tienes la respuesta de que los baña a todos al mismo tiempo, tambien ella ha mencionado en otros videos que algunas veces su esposo ve por un momento a los niños mientras ella hace otras cosas. Eso es precisamente lo que hace maravilloso este canal, todo lo que ella hace siendo tan joven para cuidar a 3 niños pequeños y un bebé a la misma vez, eso es fascinante. Yo tengo un bebé de 2 meses, como el bebe de ella y dos hijas que ya no son tan pequeñas y aún asi me es difícil, pero al verla me siento motivada 😊🙂. Me encantan los videos de ella ❤!

I really appreciate your content and you being so honest and relatable. Yes perfect routines with nice lighting etc are very pleasing to watch but that’s not real life [especially with multiple children] I have 3 kids. They’re 5,3 and 2. I’m due to have baby no4 in July. Another video of a superwoman. But it’s so calming to watch. Although I can imagine it’s not in real, but with that music it’s relaxing to watch. And I found it so wonderful to see a bit of mess around the house (I hope that’s the right English). Some toys on the floor, clothes etc…. These RUclipsr where everything is super clean with kids…. Its not the truth.
The only thing I found a bit strange for me as German, is the food you packed for the next day. If it’s for kids… it’s a lot of processed food in plastic. I only have one kid, second comes in 8 weeks. But I do not wanna judge you, I had some struggles with only 1 to find out what I can do not to reach out for convenience ready to eat food. My husbands a soldier so he is also away sometimes for weeks. I had healthy problems. We have a big dog, so 2 times a day at least for 1-2 hours go outside. And I had no motivation and power to think about cooking or food in general. I did here and then but didn’t mind to use such „unhealthy“ things. My best friend gave me that kick in the ass, specially now pregnant, to eat and cook more healthy. It was soooooooo hard to plan, cook for few days. I struggled with my hormones. So I know how it is in the evening. Some time for myself. I do want to do something for me, yes even it’s a shower on my own, no kid interrupting.
I didn’t know if I missed it, when do you start your routine and when are the boys in bed. I try around 7-7.30pm
I wish I could bath my son more often as I really do. He enjoys it. But on most days I have not the strength to bath, Pyjama etc. I just brush his teeth, and if his clothes are ok, I just change the diaper and put him a cozy warm pullover on. That’s it, he is in a body and some joggers. I feel so exhausted on some days. Yes that’s real life. I can not imagine that every mom makes everything perfekt on every day.
So again, thanks for being real. I do Wonder how you feel inside your heart. In your young life, I am 42. kids are the best in the world, but I have these „where am I?“ days. No hobby, no selfcare as before, always rush my night and morning routine. But if you get this special mommy hug,you know what/who you are doing it for.

I totally feel that. The super simple night routines where you’re dragging skin. We she nights like that too sometimes! & yes haha lots of snacks that day. Usually he gets a fruit but I didn’t have any. I start bedtime around 6! It take me about an hour to get them all in bed. So bed by 7!
And for the longest time I tried to make everything look super neat and clean in videos but that’s simply not my real life and I don’t care to lie about it hahah😂 it’s ok to have a messy house that looks lived in

I’ll also say that u have more modern conventions than I had 47 yrs ago, especially about nursing!!! I managed to only nurse each one about 6 weeks!!! You will be an awesome “nana” one day!!! ❤❤❤❤
You should be proud of yourself, couldn’t imagine 4 kids. I watch two of my grandkids during the week while mom works and that’s a lot. I have a 6,5,2,18 mths old grandkids. The two years old is non verbal, she hasn’t been diagnosed with autism yet (still waiting for appointment) but it’s so obvious. IMO she is how do you say on the lower side, she is so precious, she surprises us everyday with new things she learns. My other grandkids are hitting their mild stones, love being a grandma, get to spoil them crazy and send them home. Anyways love video like yours, I like to see what other parents with non verbal child do/don’t are cause I’m still learning how to teach/help her but she usually just does she own thing, we have our own way we communicate. 😀🧡👉🏼🇨🇦
