I’m only a third of the way through the video at this point, but shooting a passing car with a wave of water filling the frame, and you only see the car through the water, would look amazing!
I saw this video on my feed and the middle picture immediately caught my eye and watched all the way through just to see how you got it. Amazing composition and I love the 2 subjects under the umbrella. Great job👏
First time here. Subscribed. Every capture was spectacular. A different Fov and 85. Was thinking of fuji 35 1.4 for my xt2. But this vid has got me thinking. Would love to see ur in camera settings and editing. These presets got a nice mood. Amazing colours.
Thanks! Yeah, the 85 is a thing but I already replaced it with a newer version, a much lighter one. As for the plans for future videos, I will definitely make an editing video soon.
Hi, new to your channel and i must say i enjoyed this video. Great shots! Just wondering what Af focus method you usually use for street photography. I love that fact that your just snapping a shot and not changing focus points! Or maybe you are? Any info would be greatly appreciated. ✌ from 🇨🇦
Hi Ryan! Thanks for stopping by. I use AF-C (Continuous) most of the time with Focus Area - Center, and sometimes Flexible Spot M. As for the Metering Mode, it is set to Center. Hope it helps.
Only halfway through, but man, those are great shots! I‘ll definitely get an 85mm eq. for my Fujifilm camera. I love the aesthetic of your city, really inspiring and looks so good in the rain. Where are you shooting? I need to get more often into the business part of my city. Oh and I think 85mm makes every framing perfect, it‘s a perfect balance of forground, subject and background. I love this!
Thanks for your comment! Somehow missed it. Shooting in Warsaw mostly. A mix of business district and city center. I still need to go to the old city. 85mm is my go to lens. But I also love shooting with 70-200mm. However, 85mm at 1.4 is just incredible. If you don't have one yet, I recommend you buying it asap. Cheers.
Hey Joaquin, these are my older presets. Let me check if I can find those in my Lr. Please drop me an email so I won't forget to check later today or tomorrow.
Wow! great shoot! would you mind sharing your focus settings\drive mode\light metering? i bought this lens yesterday (your video locked me on getting it instead of the heavy 105) and i am also using a7r3. cheers!
Thanks man! Much appreciated. In most cases, shooting with manual mode (sometimes A mode) and continuous autofocus with an option to activate it by clicking a custom button. Metering mode: center. Focus area: center. Hope that helps! Cheers, Luke
@@jjcopon6714 I'm not sure if there are any tips at all. Just take your gopro, go outside and shoot :) That's what I do. You can of course choose a topic you want to "show", for example, shooting strangers, etc.
@@eastbanger I think while doing POV videos of you If you show us what you are actually seeing while capturing it will be more fruitful ..because the whole video we can only see the camera and very little of whats going on ...In think its because the camera is attatched in your chest, if you attach it on your head it will probably work ...
Great video, but whyyyyyy weren't you taking cool shots of cars going through the big puddles of water? Those would've look great on camera. Missed opportunities there.
All good. Notice how leading photographers use their equipment and under what conditions (e.g. Iceland, Norway, heavy rains in Thailand, etc). I wouldn't be worried about some drops :D

Loved the car reflection they were so dope.. actually the whole video good job 👍
Thanks man! Appreciated.
That old 85mm is so gigantic 😅 so happy they made a new much smaller one.
Yeah, got the new one, it's way better :)
I have been shooting street photography with the Sony 85mm 1.8 for a while now and I can't let it go!I love shooting at 85! Great photos and video!
Thanks man! Yeah, 85 is a great lens. No big difference between 1.4 and 1.8 in this case. I'm still aiming to get my own 105 1.4 - that's a monster :)
@@eastbanger I think if I go down this way I might go for the 70-200. Must be crazy to shoot at this magnification and the background compression!

Nice man what presets do you use?....
Thanks! My own presets only.
Didn't know where you were initially the saw the Metro M at 11mins so assume you are in Warsaw?
That’s correct 👍. Warsaw, Poland.
I doubt running with 85mm sigma is fun, the thing weighs a ton :D It's good to see someone doing street photography in Warsaw, even with Sony :P
Yeah it's quite heavy but still, it worth the effort :) Haha, Canon user? :D

The lens is great. I do have a editing video on my channel already (Symmetry hunters) but I will def share more of my editing process soon.
@@eastbanger thanks for reply 🙏
just a question how do u not get soaked? It doesn’t look like you have a umbrella as you have 2 hands on the camera. How do u not get wet?
Hey man, it wasn't a heavy rain like the one from the storm video I already posted. It was more like a light spring rain :) if you know what I mean.
also when it rains how do u balance a camera and umbrella
@@dash1ell I'm kinda limited to light weight lenses only (Sigma 14-24 2.8 and Sigma 35 1.4). I still couldn't do it with Sigma 85 tho.
May i know what country and town is this? Fantastic video too

What focus mode do u shoot these in?
AF-C (continuous)
Was this Video made in Poznań?

What kind of focus mode are You using?
AF-C (continuous) with a custom button attached to it and turned off under the shutter so I won't press it by accident.
