For anyone wondering the picking pattern during Chorus goes like this (I think): E. Or 1st D + B. Or 3rd + 5th G Or 4th E Or 1st D Or 3rd B Or 5th G Or 4th I am not entierly sure, but this is the best I could come up with. Anyway thanks for the video, it was really helpful!
I've been playing guitar with a pick for over 15 years. I love this song so much, that I've decided to try to learn how to play it finger picking. This is hard as hell.😂
Amazing video but indeed it's really difficult to understand the pincking for the chorus. Is there any way to make an extra video that bakes it down even more ? Thanks !
A good tutorial. Much more difficult song then I expected though. IDK why but Ive listed to the song a bunch and just thought it sounded like the same plucking all the way through. Is there a chance your over complicating it? Like I think there might be another guitar or banjo in there you're trying to incorporate all into one pattern lol
What finger pattern are you using for the f chord. I’m trying it and it sounds really weird? I believe I’m using the right plucking pattern because the other chords sound fine.
Could you please please please make a cover of yhe song, just by playing? No talking, cuz I'm desperate to find this cover all around the internet.. pls let me know if you do it or not,so for me to seek elsewhere
Δήμητρα οικ sorry about the slow reply. I’ve been meaning to make a cover video for this, perhaps I can try to make one this week. Having someone waiting for it might be a good motivation to get it done. Thank you.
Angus Chen from about 5:20-6:35 I go through the Travis picking. Now I didn't really explain how the index and middle finger alternate throughout it I guess, but it's basically the thumb alternating between 2 strings steadily, while the index and middle alternate between them in the off beats. Your index always takes the 3rd string while your middle takes the second. On the second beat of the measure your middle finger plays at the same time as your thumb. I am currently working on a video specifically dedicate to Travis picking, I'm hoping that I will have that completed in the next few weeks. That would lay it out more clearly and play it more slowly.
TurnerGuitarStudio1 thanks! I'm looking forward to the second video. The issue is that it's hard to figure out what happens between the thumb alternation. What notes get played and in what order?
I don't even speak english very well (the same with playing guitar) and this helped me a lot. Thanks!!
These explanations are so hard to follow but this is the only video I’ve found for this song
The travis picking pattern was really difficult to follow but the video was all around very helpful!
yes it's extremely confusing

Wow thank you!!!
Hey! I was wondering, how do you hammer on the middle finger without silencing the string? I can’t figure it out.
Please explain the picking for the chorus

What strings do you pluck? It was hard to understand
Nevermind I got it thanks!
@@lailabaila5 Thanks for reaching out. I'm glad you got it figured out! Sorry if I didn't make it clear enough initially!
