You could be right, or you could be wrong. We just don't know. I've spent my whole life as an atheist. I argued with people, pulled apart their beliefs, tore down the stories in the bible and in particular the Quran as just stupid shit primitive people came up with. But there was always this crack in my mind. The crack started from subatomic testing that yielded results that suggested that the physical universe we live in was more or less hollow. For example, you can fire can electron at an individual gold atom and it passes right through unless you hit the proton
eutron. But where exactly is it? Well as we know, it's not really anywhere until we shoot the probability space and get back a hit. At that exact moment, we know where it was, but poof, now it's gone again. It's as if the atom only exists as a piece of data that says "Gold atom near x,y,z coordinates", and by gold atom, it's just a reference to what a gold atom is in a lookup table.
So I pondered this for years, learnt about the double slit experiment where a human knowing what the result 'should be' causes particle test result to change the past. Now we have James Webb Space Telescope more or less proving that the big bang never happened too.
Then 'the thing' happened to me. I heard a voice behind me that told me that my son was in trouble. Freaked me out as I was in a house by myself and my son is on the other side of the planet. So I placed a call to find out if he is ok, the first time I had ever done so and got through about 15 minutes after the voice. I found that he had been in a car crash 15 minutes earlier, was ok, but the car was a write off.
You should NOT believe this story because I'm just some random guy in Sydney. But the problem I have is that there is no possible way my imagination could have invented this specific thing on it's own. So, I'm stuck with "there is more than just hollow atoms" going on. You can assume I made it up, that's safest for you, but I can't. The laws of physics, weird as they are, were violated last September and I have no ability to reconcile what happened.
I'm not going to convince you one way or the other, but something is going on that outside physics, and physics is not make a whole lot of sense either.
