I was happy to see Shohei smiling and having a fun conversation with Machado at third base.
Shohei's charm is not only his home runs and pitching, but also his pure enjoyment of baseball.
I hope Shohei will continue to convey to many children that baseball is fun.
I heard , ” You swung?” Sho said. He's enjoying the game of baseball.😂

Seeing Ohtani back on the mound just makes me fall in love with the sport all over again 😁 this man won me so many Stake parlays last season and is the sole reason i came back to watch baseball after almost 5 years away 👏 As a baseball fan we should all be thanking Ohtani for making this sport exciting once again 🔥
I truly respect his challenging spirit and strong will. His love for the sport has brought many new fans to baseball from all around the world. What he has done for this sport should be appreciated by everyone 👏
Why is everyone glazing this man? i see nothing special here, just an average pitcher. Whats all the hype about? 😅

The guy that made me come back and watch baseball after almost 17 years lol
welcome home gentleman👌
I tried to imagine not watching for 17 days, let alone 17 years. Did you actually ever like baseball?
I'm just happy for him. He is absolutely a super hero for baseball.
As a baseball fan we should all be thanking Ohtani for saving baseball, the ratings are an all time high and getting sellouts in all stadiums on road games, without him it'll be like ten years ago no one would be watching baseball, he's literally saving baseball.
Judge and Ohtani are going nuts, imagine if it was like the 90s still.
I agree 💯 but the haters knocking him are pathetic losers and not even real baseball fans just jealous trolls
I grew up playing little league and loved baseball. Quit when I was young because I was a lot better at soccer and enjoyed it more + rooting for the Mariners wasn't exactly rewarding. Stopped watching games soon after. 20 years later I'm watching games all the time because Ohtani got me back into it - Now I'm beginning to appreciate it as an adult. The increased speed of the game due to the pitch clock as well as all the new statistical categories make it really fun to watch.
@@Iloveyoutube98117 Jomboy got me back in after like 20 years.

Agree. Ohtani the savior
Dude pitched and gave up a run, then picked up a bat and took his run right BACK. And you planning to tell me Soto is worth more if not the same than Shohei?
Soto not worth anything near Ohtani. On or off the field.

Just a damn shame it had to be marred by lousy calls. It's ridiculously poor umpiring like this that will speed up their replacement with bots.

Totally agree! His pitching was very good considering he hadn't pitched in almost two years. Bravo Shohei!
@@SupremeScream he also hit a double to make up for the one he gave up. 😂
Should been his first Strikeout on Machado tho.

Yeah for someone who brings in the most money to MLB and reverse the declining viewership and the best player of all time, the glazing needs to stop for realz
yeah you can see he's still trying to find the strike zone on the outside pitches. But his velocity with that amount of movement...man. The batters are like goalies in soccer on a penalty kick. @@Matt-zo8ch I do, and he told me that pitching is his #1 passion in life. And Aaron Judge chokes in the playoffs.
baseball is better when this guy is doing both things
I am an avid Baseball fan, Giants fan so taking my bias into account, I think this is actually a better way to have his first start back than if he were to strike out the side. He had to work hard that inning, and he limited damage while getting the job done. I know everybody wants to see him strike out 27 batters and hit 4 homers in the same game, and if it doesn’t happen then he must have had a ‘bad game’ sMH Can we all just appreciate the fact that we are all a witness to greatness. What’s the saying? Can’t see the forest through the trees… Well, it’s about as fitting for this situation as I could possibly try to articulate. Enjoy the show, this is history.
