First off amazing video as aways i really apreciate the extra mile you put into those , and i specially liked the part in this one saying that BiS is relative, this kind of transparency is very welcome as information is put out. That being said out of curiosity, what was your magic gear set during the magic bursts of the video? i was kinda wondering if the spike in damage was related to magic acc alone (as if an extra 40ish magic acc made you go out of resist margin), or if the magic damage 217 was actually that huge (altough i am not that sure if the base damage of ninjutsu is low enough for magic damage to have that much of an impact), and why no mention to stuipdly high magic burst bonuses options like ochu since magic burst bonus is added separatly from magic attack bonus the damage should be a bit higher if resists is not an issue no? (altough i am not sure if you are saving those for a magic burst video later on).
Thanks and it's a good question. It's from the Magic Damage, and Magic Attk. Ochu is often thought of to be as the go to for MB"ing but it's actually not nearly as good as tauret or Gokatai... or even Fudo. I will go into all of this in my next video on magic burst but just to give you an idea. I just went out and compared straight MB damage for my Ochu vs Tauret and the Tauret gives me a MB 2500 DMG higher... if using Gokatai it would be even 300-400 higher due to the INT. It looks like that Magic Damage really does make a huge amount of difference. Don't get me wrong it's far less important then Magic Attack and INT... but when you add 217 of it apparently it really makes a difference!
Post Video Changes: I made an oversight on a piece that could absolutely be considered BiS in some circumstances, especially the low attack setup we are testing in this video. The Adhemar Head on Path A or B will give you about a 8DPS increase. This change have been updated to the Blade: Hi spreadsheet in the following link. github.com/NextGames2000/Spreadsheets/blob/master/NINWARDW0Hi.xlsx Additionally, Adhermar Hands and Feet on Path A and B can also be BiS in setups where you are very buffed so make sure to play with those in your setups as well to see if they provide a benefit in your situation.
@@commandersteve7644 Sadly not. I mean the crit damage does help increase the dps of all those crits you are doing but it in no way makes up for the triple attack loss which will lead to more weaponskills which is where the majority of your DPS will come from. That being said, it's not a huge loss. DPS in a trust situation will drop from 1861 to 1804, so a little over 50DPS.
Yes fast cast gear is critical to dual magic bursting as is the Gearswap addon to help you change your gear in time. It's possible without it but is VERY unreliable.

Like the elemental nukes called X-ton. Think ton as in Ton-berry. Doh-ton. He-o-ton. Kah-ton...
Now that you've been browbeaten into pronouncing it Blade: Hee, here's a few more for you to chew on XD: Shun = Shoon Heishi = Hay-She Kendatsuba = Ken-Da-Tsoo-Ba Samue = Sa-Moo-Eh Sune-Ate = Soo-Nay-Ah-Tay Masamune = Ma-Sa-Moo-Nay
Good question! For Blade: Hi if it's not Kannagi it can be pretty much any other Katana with High Base Weapon Damage. Gokatai or Fudo Masamune would be the next two best options. Most other Katana's will do very similar damage and it really just comes to personal preference at that point.
Yes in this situation that is correct. Now I do want to say it's only 9 DPS lower then windbuffet +1 so it's not something your really going to notice a difference with when you swap between them... and that 1% TP return is always great when it happens. :) So if you really enjoy that aspect of Fotia then it's not really going to be too much of a loss to use it over Winbuffet +1... however it is a 27DPS loss over Salifi +1 Augmented which is getting on the more noticeable side so keep in mind there is DPS to be gained here if you can eventually get that Salifi +1.
Hey, great vids! I'm planning on coming back to ffxi after a break. How does Ninja stand atm in terms of content? Can it participate in most EG activities or is it fairly limited? What kinda nms and such can one solo? (like in reisenjima, escha zi'tah and ru'aun) I was focusing on drg before I went on my break which is quite dependant on others to do higher content. I would like to have a job to also be able to solo harder stuff, or is Blu still the best for that? Cheers
Truthfully this is where I feel Ninja excels right now. Solo play with trust is the sweet spot for ninja in End Game content and will allow you take on the majority of it. Please note you will be unable to enter 3 man events such as Dynamis-D, Vagary, etc but pretty much anything else other then some Eschan Nm's and Omen bosses are very doable for a solo ninja. Now in regards to end game play in those events such as Dynamis-D and Omen... that's where Ninja falls behind and where jobs like Paladin, Rune Fencer and Puppet Master take over. Doesn't mean you can't do it with ninja but those jobs are largely more capable of dealing with end game content then Ninja unless the party is built around the ninja.
Great! What method did you end up going with? Curious if you were still able to work in a max fast cast set for both castings or whether you had to leave those off to make it happen.
@@NextGamesGuide Samnuha coat, Leyline gloves both perfect augments and baetyl Pendant. so basically +18 fast cast without sacrificing damage too much. haven't looked into the new omen sets yet.
@@nemeanlioness Oh so that's how your doing it, your using the same set for fast cast and mid cast. Yep that's definitely a good way to do it, smart move!
Mainly because it's so far behind the other options discussed. I'll go into this in more detail in my next video covering MB's but it's several thousand dmg lower then other options for MB DMG... the Magic Damage +217 on the ones mentioned is really what makes them excel so much. I'll definitely do some comparisons in next video though to show how damage compares.
Yep I've addressed it in a few episodes. Main two are as follows, know that body, hands and legs should be Nyame these days as this video was before their release. ruclips.net/video/RM88-A2hInk/видео.html ruclips.net/video/leziIgZCPfY/видео.html

Great video as always! Is achieving dual magic burst just a case of casting them back to back in fastcast gear ?

is Nyame armor better now?
For this set? No, Nyame has really helped Hybrid WS's such as blade: chi but has not taken over BiS in most other area's.
@@NextGamesGuide so some WS benefit from weapon skill damage and others don’t correct?
