    She sounds British.
So in the UK, you are not required to get out of your car unless the police suspect you of having committed or currently committing a crime worthy of arrest.
The police can, however, pull you over for any reason they like, doesn't even have to be a crime.
You are required to show, when asked, your driver's licence, car registration, and MOT, and to give your name, DoB and address, if asked.
Failing to do any of those things is a crime and the police CAN then tell you to leave the vehicle even without a previous crime having been committed.

@@deliriouswhome1yeah what are you talking about 🤡 and to add to the og commenter the laws in the US are a bit more in the citizen's way then some other examples like the UK. Where at least here it's unlawful to make an unlawful stop, no reason and you're impeding on Americans precious rights and more importantly time. Though that doesn't stop bad cops from planting drugs on you or even worse being so scared and readily equipped to end my life make that a much higher risk than the UK. At least there you can't accidentally shoot a baton and kill your family

For the lawyer, there are different laws in different countries so she's more than likely correct and the officer is the one who doesn't know the actual law. Police officers aren't trained to know the law that's why they think they can do whatever they damn well please while also legally allowed to lie to you.

    • @deliriouswhome1
      @deliriouswhome1 Год назад +1

You would need the court or lawyer like the women ,to justify you were stopped unlawfully.
This narrative being driven that people do not need to comply is stupid and dangerous.
Police have authority over civilians, courts have authority over everyone.

@@deliriouswhome1 why else would they ask you to step out the car though? it's to search you or the car based off of suspicion. in the US the 4th amendment prevents illegal search and seizure, there has to be something out in open view that the police officer can see that gives them probable cause to search. Unless you are pulled over for something other than a traffic violation. People caught with pounds of drugs have walked free becasue their lawyer got them off for violation of their 4th amendment.

    • @deliriouswhome1

@@prozak169 4th amendment, doesn't included being asked to step outta your vehicle..
It has to do with unlawful search and seizures by the government and again ,you need the courts to prove this.
This not violation of your 4th amendment..
No one's ever won 4th amendment case, if drugs were found.
That's just dumb to even suggest .
Now it's possible a clerical error by the courts ,may have produced a mistrial , that is likely .
Even in your case ,the individual had to comply in order seek legal representation..
I'm not sure where your getting confused.
There no requirement of warregt to search your vehicle with reasonable cause.
4th amendment only protects you from unreasonable search and seizures..not ones that result in finding out you did something unlawful
