Praise God for Rev. B. E. Smith. His preaching and singing with live on forever. This song blesses me all the time. I need to hear this in such a time as this. RIP in Jesus Mighty Name Amen HALLELUJAH!
I miss these old time hymns without the embellishment of too many instruments. 🙏🏾 The church songs back were pure and from the heart and soul. So much gospel music now is worldly and carnal. Singers are dining for their fame and glory and not Yahuah's. 😢
Pastor B. W. Smith is still reaching people even after he has gone home to be with our heavenly Father God. I truly am thankful to Almighty God for using this great man .
"!Daddy Would Usher in The Spirit of God in Such an Awesome and Powerful Way. I Sure do Miss My Daddy So Much, Listening to his Preaching and Singing Ministry tapes keeps Him Still Here With Me. Thank You Father God, We Love My Daddy, but You Loved Him More and Took Him on Home To Glory to be With You. I'll See Him Again when You Bring Me Home to Glory to be With You Father God ~ Amen!"♡
OMG, he was your father?! Debra, I'm a "P.K." as well with my father passing Good Friday 2016. He was 88 and a pastor/founder of Happy Day Baptist Church in the Bronx in 1969. IMy dad, mom and I moved to S.C. in 1976 when I was 5. Your father reminds me SO much of my dad. They were dedicated and serious about their work for God. Grounded in scripture but they had their own charisma, style, could whoop and sing, oh my. But what their message was not just hollering, it was deep. I'm SO glad you left a comment. I have watched and enjoyed ALL your father's sermons I could find on RUclips. But THIS one "You Got What You Wanted But Lost What You Had" is my fav. When he is closing and then sings this song, I genuinely still feel the spirit that was in that church that night so many years ago. Won't he do it?!
Ms. Smith, I created a Gospel Gold playlist dedicated to my father's church & ministry. This is the gospel we grew up with, please check it out and share: ruclips.net/p/PLU2PKy7_O0FcfZcy1RUO8P8kkunsuewx2
