This one analytical mistake rejects more candidates from MBB than all others combined.
It is not about how fast you do your math. It's not even about you getting to the right number.
It's about something much more important than that.
I've seen MBAs, PHDs, and candidates with STEM backgrounds doing this one mistake over and over again in interview at McKinsey, Bain and BCG. In every single case, they lose their offer out of this mistake alone.
So, what is this mistake? Watch the video and you'll find out it's about what you do with your analysis AFTER you find the right answer.
Remember, management consultants are advisors to executives. Their job is not to calculate numbers, but to advise on ACTIONS these executives should take. Tie your analysis back to what the numbers mean and what your clients should do and you'll avoid this mistake that so many unprepared (or naive) candidates make.

Hey Vivek! Super happy that you enjoy watching them!
We will add PEI videos in the future for sure. Creating good content takes a long time, though, so it will take more than a few weeks before we finish what's in our plates and get to that.
Thanks for the tip, though! By the way - what are the top 1-2 questions you have regarding the PEI? I will make sure to start addressing those!
