See this is why I don't introduce anime to any of my family members. I mean damn it, is incest that freaking common in Japan? Is incest that embedded into their pop culture? Its in bunch of anime and definitely hinted or mildly implied in a whole bunch of others.
Japan has a very conservative culture. In the real world, a lot of things are taboo, even more than here in the west. However, because the real world is so restrictive and censored on taboo subjects, those subjects are explored a lot in works of fiction, because in fiction, they have the freedom to do whatever they want. Incest is one of those subjects. People around the world take an appeal to it because it's "wrong". There's a certain thrill to enjoying a forbidden fruit, as they say. Homosexuality is also really frowned upon in Japan, and heavily featured in anime just the same.
It's the great AMV and anime. I love Kirino, she's just stunning and she reminds me of Louise in many ways. I have no problems with incest. Corwin and Deirdre from the Chronicles of Amber are my favorite fantasy characters and I always loved their relationships.

The girl had a childhood love on her brother who she looked up to and the whole anime is about him helping her become happy with who she is and the two falling in love with each other. It is great anime if you like the type of anime it is. The incest is obviously intentional and if you don't like the ending or the anime itself there IS a visual novel in Japanese and translations in progress where you can get the game/anime the way you want it.

I thought this was really well done. I really like what you did with the clips from the anime. They way you put it together was great and the song really fits with how you changes the clips in the anime.
One of the two anime that made me realise incest isn't as unethical as I was told. I can still not see myself having a relationship with any of my siblings but I am certainly even more tolerant now. The other was "yosuga no sora" by the way.

The Romance story is so so, but the anime is epic, Season 2 pans out quite well, for those people who can't watch due to being afraid of an incest plot, while it does reference a lot the anime is extremely well done. Some parts are hard to watch but its done well.
