Can't say I've been a huge fan of Alastair and certainly not his former boss, but I admire his openess in this piece and even some of his comments on your current situation. Well done to the four of you. As for the two jobs and parallel thinking... no comment 🤣 Great interview!

Yup, hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis because of Campbell's warmongering. God sure was working hard then.

Wishing Alistair Campbell and all with the terrible suffering of mental health issues to find the right ways to lead them out of suffering.
From studying the mind for decades, through meditation and mindfulness ( with the base of ethics), I understand that an important factor that many with mental health issues, and indeed their therapists miss is the question of ethics. If one kills or causes others to kill, steals or causes others to steal, lies, gossips, has affairs or abuses others sexually or takes non medicinal drugs ( including alcohol) which cloud the mind, then one of the causes of living like this is mental illness.
Therapists do not question their clients lifestyles or ethics and should a person continue to not uphold ethical standards, then the degree to which they don’t is very likely to cause mental disturbances now or in the future.
This is not said in any way as a judgement, rather a desire that people suffer less by finding the real causes that cause suffering and then eradicating the causes. If one studies the happiest people, (one sees that despite their circumstances they are happy), that their lives are lived with high ethical standards, immense honesty, a lack of greed and the keeping the company of the ‘wise and good’. Sincere best wishes to Alistair and all who suffer from mental health issues.

Alastair is a lovely kind man, but he needs to stop trashing President Trump. Alistair seems obsessed with President Trump and has TDS

King of spin Campbell. No thanks, he's just another liar. He & Blair should be in prison, but seeing as Blair was just given a knight commander role, it'll never happen. That so called honor means everything he did was with the blessing of the state.
