Alright i just ordered my tune last night and got impatient so here i am on youtube. Absolutely buzzing now! Coming from a HPA dsg tune so i dont think i’m gunna see too much difference but the smoothness difference i feel is going to be crazy.
i have a similar set of paddles and instead of only relying on the grub screw, i also hot glued it to the paddles. super secure now and it'll reverse to stock no issue
Be warned, what the tuners dont tell you is that once you do the DSG tune, you going to lose the FART. You're going to be quiet quicker but lot less fart noise. You'll get a quick blip at most.
I’ll be honest I still get decent dsg farts I know that the DQ381 is known to have less farts but the DQ250 I believe still regardless if tcu tune or not will still fart
Just found your channel, nice content bud. I have a mk7 R and am also running eqt for the ecu/tcu.. I find it quite good as well. Curious as to which mount you are using for your AP? Cheers
Tbh, I think both companies are great. Only reason I went EQT is just how easy it is with the tuning capabilities and such. UM is an amazing company though and I was tempted to go with them. Whatever direction chosen is smart being that imo UM and EQT are the best MQB tuners
bought my s3 and it’s stage 1 but not sure if tcu is tuned .. i have some issues with mu transmission when i pull off and it changes gear it sometimes have like a jerk in the shift but mostly in low rpm so only when i pull of .. doesn’t happen when i put mu foot down all the way .. any help please?
I also have the stage 1 EQT on my 2017 S3. I saw your CTS intake video. If you must select, would you do the DSG tune or the CTS intake/turbo inlet first? BTW, for the most part, I always drive using the paddle shift when on Dynamic mode.
If you’re always driving in dynamic and spirited than the dsg tune is best.. the dsg tune is fantastic I love it.. the intake and inlet pipe are great for throttle response and turbo sounds but won’t add to the fun factor like the dsg tune where is shifts faster and at better points in the rpm range
@@DArias I bought some 195/50r15 wheels and tires and I was just wondering if I had to do any modifications to put on the tire or if it just slips on and what size are you’re wheels they look clean!
Tbh the dsg transmission is so so strong that it won’t do anything bad. All it does it make the clutches engage a little harder for the extra power. So you know these transmissions can hold over 500ft lbs of torque .. many by grid turbo setups close to 600whp have 0 issues
Love that you went with an S3
Thanks man!

Not a bad idea actually! I’m debating actually getting a set of the urus paddles for the car rn haha
Seems like it's shifting crazy fast!
It does shift faster than stock. Great improvement!

Thanks man! I appreciate that.. and it’s literally a suction cup mount from five below! Lol works great
great beer 🍺👍
04:47 - nice Żywiec ad on the truck! you in Poland bro?
@diego what is the name of the paddles? Thanks
Would you say this tune is better than UM?

Those paddles look great! Price?
Only like $50 snd great quality !
Sounds like the clutch repair is going the be expensive. It will wear out way quicker than with stock tune 😢
These transmissions are super strong I wouldn’t worry about that unless you’re planning to wanna make some crazy torque numbers
Does the dsg tune improve the dsg farts?
It does as the shifts happen faster causing louder farts

Has anyone dyno'd before and after the TCU tune I wonder? Just curious of the numbers.
Next mod a booster seat
Hey bro I got a couple of questions you think you can help me out ): you seem smart
Absolutely! What’s up man?

Can the dsg Tune damage the transmission?

I know mcarter high way when i see it 😂
My guy, you need a booster seat. You can barrely see over the stearing wheel haha
Buy me one please 😬
