In their webtoon, Dark Moon: the Blood Altar, the 7 vampires go to Decelis Academy and in Tamed-Dashed, learned the fact that if they are not afraid to die they will be able to be under the sun. That's why somewhere near the first chorus they get burnt and after sometimes they didn't. In the lore, each of them have their own power. Basically they are a very structured group, even their discography (album) is based on the lore. Also the MV for Brought the Heat Back have a theme of Horror Comedy so it's kinda hilarious. I can't even begin to explain how obsessed I am with Enyphen right now.. In Brought the heat back, you mentioned the guy with a sleeveless shirt, that was Jungwon, the leader. The blondie was Sunoo and the red head is Heeseung (the oldest). The guy whose picture is in the beginning is Jake. Jay was the person with the high and long pitch. Sunghoon was alone in a car (which had real men love cats on the side) and Ni-ki had smoke coming out of the top of his head while driving. Hope this helps 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You got recommended so many songs because Enhypen have the most amazing bsides. Like half of them could have been title tracks, they are known for that. They have dark songs but they don't settle for one style, they keep changing it up so no matter your prefered music style you will find songs you like in their discography. The person in 59:09 as well as 1:13:05 is Heeseung, it is true that he is mentioned few times (from fans, EN- members, and their staffs) as a main vocal and center. He would do the adlibs and background vocals for most of the songs (e.g. Given-Taken, Still Monster, etc) and most highnotes. I like Blind the most tho for his adlibs and background vocal. [Note: Heeseung trained as rappers in bighit before he want to focus on vocals and thats why he called ACES] The person in the sleeveless is Jungwon and the one doing high notes in Brought the Heat Back is indeed Jay. Only 10 minutes in so maybe you know this already, but Enhypen does not have any official positions except for leader. Some fans like to refer to certain members as main vocalist because they seem to fill that role most of the time, and the members have said outright that they do consider Ni-Ki to be the main dancer :)

I feel like I should be writing a really intelligent comment with lots of fun facts and stuff to guide you in discovering ENHA as a veteran ENGENE, but I'm just so overjoyed that you're checking them out to write anything smart haha I really like your style of reactions (originally found your channel through your Xdinary Heroes videos) and wished for a long time you'd look into ENHA's no-skip discography and here we are, I'm very happy and grateful for any other reactions to them you decide to do ^^ please be aware that ENGENEs will love anything ENHA-related you release, we all just love seeing people discover and appreciate ENHYPEN I'll just leave the official statement on what ENGENE means here: "Because of the pronunciation of the word "ENGENE" the first thing it means is that, "our fans are like 'engines' that let us grow and keep going." The second meaning is that the fans are "ENHYPEN's 'gene'" and that "you and ENHYPEN share the same DNA to connect, discover, and grow together." (I personally think it's a very cool fandom name) Btw, one can just assume they are vampires in all MVs they put out and it works, that's just how flexible and creative their concept can be. Even though I'm a veteran ENGENE, I'm not really a lore expert and only know some of the most superficial stuff, so don't worry too much about it. You can always explore it if you want, because it's a truly fascinating lore, but it doesn't take anything away from the ENHA experience if you don't immediately get it. You can just dive into it little by little Anyway, I'll probably rewatch this a couple of times and answer any other questions you had. Hope my comment isn't too long and overwhelming, I get too excited when it comes to ENHYPEN since they're my most favorite group ever! You can get a better idea about the group and the individual members by watching a Guide (the 2024 guide is pretty good), as some of those facts you read are rather random and some are inconsequential or no longer completely accurate. Better to watch their reality shows or behind the scenes to see them for yourself. There are no positions other than leader, although Heeseung is acknowledged as main vocal and Ni-ki as main dancer. All members are pretty much all-rounders. Our boys are sooo talented.

In the survival show it was always known that the top 6 would be picked by global votes and the Producers would choose the last member of the group. Rank 7 was never guaranteed a spot only the top 6 were and the producers chose from the remaining trainees.
in tamed-dashed the rugby outfits are like their “present day” selves while the old fashioned outfits are supposed to represent that those scenes are in the past so there is definitely vampire lore there! also the school in that mv is the academy they go to in their webtoon where they’re all vampires!
So, IIRC 7th place on I-Land was a japanese trainee called K, who is suuuuper talented and at the start of the competition a fav to win, but he had a narrative a ways in where he wasn't a very good leader and made some questionable choices (there was big drama at the time but i watched it long after the fact and it didn't seem that dramatic to me lol). It was somewhat scandalous that the producers chose Sunoo instead of K, especially since K was older and part of his narrative was this being his last chance to debut. But don't feel too bad for him, K along with 3 other contestants from Iland (Taki, Nicholas, and EJ) remained as trainees at hybe and were set as the core members of the japanese counterpart to enhypen, a group called &Team (enhypen's concept is vampires, &team is werewolves), and a seperate smaller survival show called &audition was done to select 5 more members and form a final lineup of 9. It was much lower key than I-land, and interesting to watch given that the 4 legacies from i-land were guaranteed spots in the new group so part of the competition was about how well they get along with and lead the contestants for the additional spots. If you check out Drunk-Dazed mv, K and EJ make a cameo and fans who watched I-Land were gooped and gagged when K showed up in scenes w/ Sunoo. As for connected lore, both groups have a webcomic series called Dark Moon. The Blood Alter version tells Enhypen's lore, The Grey City is for &Team's lore. I think as far as music videos, Drunk-Dazed is the only one where both groups actually appear, tho &Team's mvs seem to include more directly their lore from the comics.

I don't watch a lot of the pop reactions bc I don't really spend too much time in the kpop world outside of just being an army but I've watched a few (just bc I love ur videos and vibe, they pull me over between bl reactions lmao) and I gave this one a watch and wow.....enhypen kinda do slay don't they....💀 I watched i-land when it was airing (despite never watching those shows, I just heard bts would appear on it LOL) and I was a biiiiig sunoo stan & I loved Jake too (I remember the agony of thinking sunoo wasn't gonna debut 😭), and I paid attention to them during their debut and liked the debut song and album but then I fell off completely and just did not keep up at all (I only listened to drunk-dazed since bc it slaps so hard), I'm a bit sad I didn't keep up bc all of these songs I haven't heard (except given-taken ofc) and they're actually bangers ,, I'm a big casual music listener and rarely get into music related fandoms but this vid has defo got me thinking I may start listening to enhypen again! Only 10 minutes in so maybe you know this already, but Enhypen does not have any official positions except for leader. Some fans like to refer to certain members as main vocalist because they seem to fill that role most of the time, and the members have said outright that they do consider Ni-Ki to be the main dancer :)

I feel like I should be writing a really intelligent comment with lots of fun facts and stuff to guide you in discovering ENHA as a veteran ENGENE, but I'm just so overjoyed that you're checking them out to write anything smart haha
I really like your style of reactions (originally found your channel through your Xdinary Heroes videos) and wished for a long time you'd look into ENHA's no-skip discography and here we are, I'm very happy and grateful for any other reactions to them you decide to do ^^ please be aware that ENGENEs will love anything ENHA-related you release, we all just love seeing people discover and appreciate ENHYPEN
I'll just leave the official statement on what ENGENE means here:
"Because of the pronunciation of the word "ENGENE" the first thing it means is that, "our fans are like 'engines' that let us grow and keep going." The second meaning is that the fans are "ENHYPEN's 'gene'" and that "you and ENHYPEN share the same DNA to connect, discover, and grow together." (I personally think it's a very cool fandom name)
Btw, one can just assume they are vampires in all MVs they put out and it works, that's just how flexible and creative their concept can be. Even though I'm a veteran ENGENE, I'm not really a lore expert and only know some of the most superficial stuff, so don't worry too much about it. You can always explore it if you want, because it's a truly fascinating lore, but it doesn't take anything away from the ENHA experience if you don't immediately get it. You can just dive into it little by little
Anyway, I'll probably rewatch this a couple of times and answer any other questions you had. Hope my comment isn't too long and overwhelming, I get too excited when it comes to ENHYPEN since they're my most favorite group ever!

You can get a better idea about the group and the individual members by watching a Guide (the 2024 guide is pretty good), as some of those facts you read are rather random and some are inconsequential or no longer completely accurate. Better to watch their reality shows or behind the scenes to see them for yourself. There are no positions other than leader, although Heeseung is acknowledged as main vocal and Ni-ki as main dancer. All members are pretty much all-rounders. Our boys are sooo talented.

In the survival show it was always known that the top 6 would be picked by global votes and the Producers would choose the last member of the group. Rank 7 was never guaranteed a spot only the top 6 were and the producers chose from the remaining trainees.
in tamed-dashed the rugby outfits are like their “present day” selves while the old fashioned outfits are supposed to represent that those scenes are in the past so there is definitely vampire lore there! also the school in that mv is the academy they go to in their webtoon where they’re all vampires!

So, IIRC 7th place on I-Land was a japanese trainee called K, who is suuuuper talented and at the start of the competition a fav to win, but he had a narrative a ways in where he wasn't a very good leader and made some questionable choices (there was big drama at the time but i watched it long after the fact and it didn't seem that dramatic to me lol). It was somewhat scandalous that the producers chose Sunoo instead of K, especially since K was older and part of his narrative was this being his last chance to debut.
But don't feel too bad for him, K along with 3 other contestants from Iland (Taki, Nicholas, and EJ) remained as trainees at hybe and were set as the core members of the japanese counterpart to enhypen, a group called &Team (enhypen's concept is vampires, &team is werewolves), and a seperate smaller survival show called &audition was done to select 5 more members and form a final lineup of 9. It was much lower key than I-land, and interesting to watch given that the 4 legacies from i-land were guaranteed spots in the new group so part of the competition was about how well they get along with and lead the contestants for the additional spots.
If you check out Drunk-Dazed mv, K and EJ make a cameo and fans who watched I-Land were gooped and gagged when K showed up in scenes w/ Sunoo.
As for connected lore, both groups have a webcomic series called Dark Moon. The Blood Alter version tells Enhypen's lore, The Grey City is for &Team's lore. I think as far as music videos, Drunk-Dazed is the only one where both groups actually appear, tho &Team's mvs seem to include more directly their lore from the comics.

I watched i-land when it was airing (despite never watching those shows, I just heard bts would appear on it LOL) and I was a biiiiig sunoo stan & I loved Jake too (I remember the agony of thinking sunoo wasn't gonna debut 😭), and I paid attention to them during their debut and liked the debut song and album but then I fell off completely and just did not keep up at all (I only listened to drunk-dazed since bc it slaps so hard), I'm a bit sad I didn't keep up bc all of these songs I haven't heard (except given-taken ofc) and they're actually bangers ,, I'm a big casual music listener and rarely get into music related fandoms but this vid has defo got me thinking I may start listening to enhypen again! I occasionally get sunoo content in my feed too and I miss him he slays so hard I wanna keep up just for him atp 🙂↕️

I do it for every group I look into to get to know them a little before listening to their music 🥰 Most guides are like an hour long so I don't want to do that for every group, especially if I don't know if I'll like their music (many guides also don't include personality facts like the profiles do).
