- The Fastlife tour of NYC continues! Derek has always dreamed of being a race car driver and a rock star. He continues to work on both dreams. This time the rockstar dream is a step closer. After watching a documentary film at the Ashland Independent Film Festival in his hometown of Ashland, Oregon about Carmine Street Guitars, a famous hole in the wall guitar shop in New York City's East Village where known guitar icons have custom guitars made, Derek was inspired to order one of his own! Derek was super nervous to play his guitar when he picked it up. Did he do it? Watch to find out!
The races at Watkins Glen are coming up! Stay tuned to watch the finish of the 2019 racing season for Derek!

Congrats I have to get to Carmine Street Guitars soon I've been playing guitar for 40 years and at age 45 started a recording career playing blues with my son...in addition to being a high school teacher...never too late to make dreams come true.
