Becky and Joan were very entertained by the weird American Sasquatch known as dav. One played along with the epic story while the other said "it came from the store" love those ladies.
I hope his dream of being a mechanic comes to fruition!! I was a mechanic for several years, I didn’t get started till I was in my late 20s early thirties, so he has plenty of time to accomplish his dreams!! I hope for him he sticks with that!!
Not sure what we ate over on the Coppename River but it was absolutely delicious!! Believe it was a Capybara/nutria type rodent. The Silver Croaker was ok and the Electric Eel wasn't as good as the North American Green Eels I've eaten. Were you able to find any native fruits? Found some plumbs as they called them but they looked more like our persimmons. And just as tricky. Some were great, some were bitter as hell!
Good morning dāv, I hope you are having a fantastic weekend, I couldn't hunt like that, I love animals too much, but when you are out away from stores and stuff and that's all that there is to live on I would rather starve. I'm extremely picky too. But have an awesome Sunday
Very cool.. all the credit to Becky and Joan for dealing with Dav... a random note from a hunting family... soy sauce and vinegar are both fantastic for pulling down the gaminess in game :-) Pronghorn antelope teriyaki is gorgeous!
Hello Dav, I didn't know you had a food channel, too. Great catch & cook video bro, I enjoyed watching it very much. Thanks for sharing another awesome video with us. ❤
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld Your food channel is pretty cool. I only knew your reptile channel before. Its cool how you made different type videos from the same trip.
I almost bailed at the intro cause I'm a wuss. But I didn't and I'm so glad I didn't! (Ok, a little hand over the screen time but I made it!) What a culinary adventure!
I try anything once… as long as it’s totally prepared and not looking back at me. Eyes staring back at me from my dinner plate is a definite deal breaker.
Dāv, i also do not say maRinaade like they say in Surinam or in the Netherlands. I do speak Dutch but Flemish, you’ve been to Antwerp, to Bruges that’s how I speak.
next time visit the fishman camp or go with better agent to surf Suriname culture food. in the video's i never see you try pomp, boijo. common rice beans soy chicken... you all miss out the true culture. peanut soup, bravoe, saoto ect ect ect... this group miss ou many
@@noblesseraziel9499 Suriname and Guyana are actually the 2 countries that are part of South America but not Latin America because they don't speak a romance language. In Guyana they speak english and in Suriname they speak Dutch, as well as many other languages (indigenous and creoles) in both. Suriname was never colonized by spain as far as I'm aware so I don't think there's many people of Spanish decent there. As for the spices, the dutch brought over a lot of slaves from africa as well as bringing workers (although with the way they were sometimes treated it was barely better than slavery) from indonesia and india and later china as well I think. So there's a lot of different food and spices in suriname because people brought those dishes with them from africa and asia

In Trinidad and Tobago we called it a lappe. We cooked it curry stew with coconut milk.

Yes we found lots of fruits and we didn't try electric eels so we'll have to do that next time

Yes, they put up with me nicely lol and thanks for the tip!
Becky and Joan were cooking hard and Dav was like that ornery uncle in the kitchen at Christmas giving the women a hard time.😅
