Glad to have viewed this video in advance of fitting the table in my own Jeep JL. The Front Runner table is a quasi-universal product, so it was time well spent to observe a fellow owner work through the instruction's shortcomings, and his own, to get the table installed in his JK Wrangler. Thank you for the effort!

A very helpful and simple modification to the install would be using rivnuts instead of the cheap jack nuts. With a rivnut tool, that procedure would go fairly easily. Check out Baptism Overland and his install for the Frontrunner table.

I too was thinking that rivnuts would be a better solution. That said, we'd have to own or purchase the rivnut tool, and depend on Front Runner to incorporate the tool's requirement in the ad copy for the table (so that Jeep owners can make an informed purchase decision here.)
Possibly Front Runner decided that jack nuts would be the easier solution here, lest some owner post a video complaining about the expense of the rivnut tool, and/or not being advised in advance that he'd need one for the installation process. Either way, it was good to see the installer get it done.

Thank You for taking the time to make this detailed video. I’m installing mine now and I thought I was going insane when the carpet in the back didnt seem flat because of the sub. Definitely going to give the rubber and the carpet a trim after the install. Thanks again

Hi Adrian, today I mounted the Frontrunner drop down table to my Jeep JKU. Thank good I prior watched your valuable video. I also stucked with one of the fu****g jack nuts. Due to your video this was the only bigger problem I ran into. At the end of the day the job was done and I have to say it´s a really cool product. Frontrunner should improve their instructions and find some better solutions to get the device installed (i.e. jack nuts, mounting wrench and the need of a 12 mm drill). With mm I do not have problems in Europe 😉

As said, I got frustrated with the whole thing and put it away. But not before I bought a package of those nutserts and a tool that I subsequently couldn't find. Worst Jeep purchase I made by a long shot.
