Cliffside? Damn, been a while since I’ve seen that video. I’m glad more people are getting to know about it! Having a horror comedy western is quite the unique combination lol

It's not that it didn't catch on. Liam is not an animator but a concept artist. Cliffside is probably his student project and it took him so much time and work that he didn't want to get into it any deeper.
If you take a look at the intersomething cube, you will see that Liam has completely abandoned the visuals and the whole thing literally looks like a (very good quality) animation sketch.
But additionally... you may notice a pattern. Each of his stories contains 2 characters. A "lovable idiot", and "crazy, creepy girl". In this case, they are Weylon and Cordie. It's the same in inter-cube. 2 main characters. With a similar role. The cube also includes the "eldritch horror" theme. Sounds familiar?
Although fans of Liam's work are unlikely to see anything more from these old projects, Murder drones takes all these motifs.
And they are in 3D because the studio Liam works with now makes animations in this style.
