    Please dont cohab male crested geckos. The one you showed looks adult to subadult and that can be very dangerous even being in such a large tank. Not to mention with a Milk frog. If you're able I'd reccomend a 18 18 24 arboreal tank from zoomed or Exoterra. And seperate the 3 cresteds and milk frog. Props for good care and doing bioactive but seperate the animals.
    Cresteds are territorial and only congregate when mating season is present which is now if youre in USA. Also only cresteds who can possibly is two laid back females lots of feeding and hiding opportunities. Please research this a bit more

    I think all of your enclosures are absolutely beautiful but I don’t know if I missed this or not but it sounded like you housed your two leopard geckos together and I know people say it’s okay for females to be together but really they are solitary animals and I have 6 crested geckos and I saw that your geckos was housed with your whites tree frog and I haven’t done any research on this but is that safe? I’m just wondering because I know that Whites tree frogs are ravish eaters and your male looked kind of small next to your frog so I was worried he may mistake him for food. I don’t know I could be completely wrong and I’m sorry if I am I was just wondering/concerned. Other than that your enclosures and animals are really cool and love your rabbit set ups :)

      @@grantstrain4378 Yeah, that's why I was wondering-I think I understand her idea behind it but I don't think its the best or greatest method to go by just because of different care requirements and the risk of the whites tree frog possibly attempting to eat the crestie if it mistakes it for a large dubia roach or something.

    Wondering if the snake is in a temporary setup due to receiving treatment for mites? If not, maybe consider upgrading and improving that setup. If you bring a large platform and claim to be educating, I would recommend putting disclaimers in your video for temporary setups so new pet owners do not mistake temporary care for more appropriate permanent care. Just a tip, not a criticism. That 90 gallon communal tank is amazing!!! Also was very unclear if your female leos cohab, and if they do might want to put a disclaimer explanation so new Leo owners don't think they need a friend and star sticking leos in tanks together. Thanks for joining the community and spreading your love and knowledge for animals!!

    Just some friendly advice for the whites tree frogs and cresties should definitely all have their own enclosure/terrarium, whites tree frogs can be kept together if the terrarium is big enough, I would also suggest separating the Leos.

    Hey! I am a veterinary technician with experience in exotics (mostly reptiles and small animals) and these are just some critiques on what I think you could/should do to further improve your animals wellbeing!
    First and foremost, you should NEVER cohab two completely different species of animals in the same tank especially when it comes to reptiles and amphibians as this can cause many many problems. The tank is a wonderful size but cresties truly need more climbing space and thus a vertical enclosure. It’s a little concerning to me that there are 3 cresties with a whites tree frog together but I’m not hating just giving a recommendation!!
    It’s also highly recommended to not cohab leopard geckos as they are solitary animals and prefer to be alone. It can also cause a lot of stress to them to cohab but if you do continue the cohabbing as I know people seem to continue to think it’s okay, they need at least a 40 gallon but I honestly would recommended even bigger.
    These are just some things I know regarding animals that I have cared for and/or owned as pets myself. It’s really important to do as much research as you can before getting in animal (not saying you didn’t but just a general statement) as there is alot of care and specifications that go into to caring for them especially reptiles and amphibians as they require very specific heat, humidity, and lighting sources.

    Hi there came across this video on my recommended and I have some suggestions for you.
    Please do not cohab your leopard geckos, there is tons of research out there on why this is not recommended. At the very minimum if you are going to continue to cohab them please upgrade to a minimum of 40 gallons or more.
    Another major issue you absolutely should not be cohabbing 3 crested geckos and a tree frog together. The whites frog aside, depending on the sexes of the cresties by the time they mature there can be issues regarding territorial disputes even if they are the same sex, if they are opposite sex you will have breeding at far too young of age and size which will be detrimental to the females. The whites frog needs its own enclosure, it is not recommended to cohab amphibians whatsoever, no matter the size. Please separate these groups! If you are planning on spreading animal education content you are spreading the wrong message by cohabbing species.
    Your chameleon needs proper lighting. I can see that it does not have adequate t5 uvb lighting provided to it I am unaware of hydration but I didn't see a dripper, fogger or misting system equipped either. The minimal footage I saw of it looked very dehydrated.
    I'm not quite sure what's happening with the boa, if you are struggling with mites use paper towel and plastic hides until it's cleared. If the mites have been cleared then please look into upgrading the tank size and providing proper hides and enrichment opportunities for the snake.
    The tortoise should not be housed in a glass tank, even temporarily look into getting a tub for him like you have for the turtles. Tortoises do not understand glass and will often push against it, causing long term damage to their beak. Please make sure the turtles and Tortoises are provided t5 uvb lighting while they are inside to prevent pyramiding and mbd.
    I really hope you make some of these changes to your care and I am more than happy to assist you on improving. I know you mean the best for your animals and would like to help you provide that for them. I'm a long time reptile/amphibian keeper and breeder and have worked with many different species. You are welcome to send me a message on my Instagram under the same username.
    Wishing you the best, hope this doesn't sound too harsh

    You really shouldn’t be cohabbing any animal together out of its species. Different diets for one, and different needs. I own both. It’s different in the wild. The set up although is amazing. I loved all of them. Same with your Leo’s. They should never be homed together. They’ll bite limbs off, as well as consume that loose sub.

      Senior animal educator and general manager here, you are absolutely correct. The cresties are also different sexes which makes it worst, and the leopard geckos are in a small 20gal, which is small for even just one. And the boa’s enclosure looked… sad. But the cresties and frogs I defiantly agree shouldn’t be together

Try a lower water dish. I use a glass baking dish for my bci. But his thinness concerns me and I believe you need to see a vet just to make sure there is nothing else going on. • @olivetellegen600

      Do research! How I convinced my parents to get more guinea pigs (I now have 4) If I put together a slideshow on why it would be beneficial. Did a bunch of research as well. Best of luck!

      Be consistent and show that you really want this animal. Try telling them facts you learned about the animal!
      Also make sure you show them you can be responsible and trust worthy! Maybe do more chores around the house???
      It took me months to finally get my parents to get me different animals but I would show them RUclips videos about the animal or cute videos of the animal!
      (LOTS and LOTS of research when considering animals, no animal is easy or simple)

      That’s because he had mites at the time so we didn’t put a lot in there because we had to do clean outs frequently and didn’t want the mites to be able to hide in decor/plants. Please don’t assume things before asking!

    Please stop cohabiting. I've noticed you've ignored everyone that has been telling you to stop cohabitating your animals. It's cruel and I would expect more research from someone that has so many animals

    Two leopard geckos can be put in the same tank?

    • @random23670
      @random23670 3 года назад

      yes but only if they are the same gender but always have an extra tank just in case they fight but when you want two geckos you have to get them at the same time.

    • @prcwl9469
      @prcwl9469 3 года назад

      usually have to be two bonded females (males can be territorial) but you have to monitor them just in case and provide enough hides and space for both of them.
