'The Secret Teachings of All Ages' TASCHEN Book Launch and Panel Discussion

Join Jessica Hundley and Nic Taylor in conversation with Matthew Weiner, James Fauntleroy II, Melinda Lee Holm, and Stephen Reedy as they discuss TASCHEN's release of Manly P. Hall's 'The Secret Teachings of All Ages'. This panel discussion was followed by a lounge reception with projections and music by DJ Chris Holmes and food and refreshments from Ghia and Misha's Kind Foods.

Matthew Weiner is a television writer, producer, and director. The creator and showrunner of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning television series Mad Men, Weiner's credits also include writer and executive producer on the acclaimed series The Sopranos.
James Fauntleroy II is an American singer, songwriter and record producer best known for writing and producing tracks by high-profile artists such as Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake, as well as writing songs for artists including Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. In 2014 and 2018, Fauntleroy won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Song.
Melinda Lee Holm is a writer and Tarot scholar. She is author of the books Tarot of Tales, Elemental Power Tarot and Your Magickal Year, as well as co-author of Divine Your Dinner, and creator of Melinda Lee Holm Beauty. She has been featured in Vogue, InStyle, WWD, Condé Nast Traveler, and the Hollywood Reporter.
Stephen Reedy is a contributing scholar at The Philosophical Research Society, bringing a relatable approach to exploring the basics of Symbolism and comparative Philosophy. His other life is in the film and advertising industries, where he has worked with companies like Masterclass, Blumhouse and Warner Brothers.

Jessica Hundley is the editor of TASCHEN’s The Secret Teachings of All Ages and the multivolume Library of Esoterica series. She is an author, filmmaker and journalist. She has written for the likes of Vogue, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times, and has authored books on artists including Dennis Hopper, David Lynch, and Gram Parsons.
Nic Taylor is the designer of TASCHEN’s The Secret Teachings of All Ages and the multivolume Library of Esoterica series and co-founder of Thunderwing a Los Angeles-based multi-disciplinary studio formed in 2007 by Nic & J. B. Taylor. Collaborating on a diverse array of projects, Thunderwing creates branding and design for film, publishing, fashion, food, music, and interior design.
The evening featured music and projections by DJ Chris Holmes of Fascinated by Everything. Holmes is an artist working at the intersection of music, technology, and culture. For the past decade, Chris has toured as a DJ with Daft Punk, Radiohead and Sir Paul McCartney, played keyboards on tour for the Smashing Pumpkins and remixed everyone from The Beatles, Radiohead, and David Bowie.
