Late to the party here.... But I crammed two of these into a system that I built into an NZXT h510i case.... Ran them in crossfire... 4K 98 FPS on ultra settings in flight SIM 2020.... Holy Christ... Especially when you kick these bad boys in the butt a little bit with a little bit of tuning and tweaking? Space heater I'm not fond of the 2.5 slot because if you run multiple cards, which most people aren't but still, the top card just can't breathe, it sucks up the hot air from the lower card and fresh air is highly restricted.. All in all though, they mined Ethereum while I was out on the road, because I drive a truck, and those two cards actually paid for my groceries during 2020 going into 2021, because things were terrible at work.. Best $800 I ever spent really and truly... Still have the cards, still working relatively well, but I'm already looking to upgrade.
I love my xt raw. Got it for 379 at best buy a week ago and haven't had any issues so far. Seems to be on par w/2070s, at stock speeds anyway, and you can't beat the price. Had a 1080 prior that I sold for more than this card costs
I came from a 1070, and did in the end have to do a clean install of windows. Kept getting funky issues. Greenscreens and blackouts until I just bit the bullet and did a fresh install of windows... 2nd problem is, you really have a lot of issues if you try to run Afterburner and Rivatuner. They like to fight each other over the fan speed. Afterburner wins the fight but Adrenaline not to be outdone just takes its driver and goes home....

@@georgwarhead2801 honestly the rx 5700 xt pulse, powercolor red devil, and gigabyte oc are better in price/performance imo. They are 40 euros cheaper and there is not enough of a difference to me.
The card I'm buying is the Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ Rx 5700 Xt. From reviews I've seen it has one of the better coolers and I like the looks of the card and the tasty RGB.
Honestly I really wanna roast XFX but this is model is actually acceptable and has the same price as the reference model, its just a shame that it looks horrible. They should've kept it simple and done with that.
Just got one of these and I'm very happy with it, as it replaced a R9 270. Going through some games at Ultra settings in 1080P it did get loud and hot, but my case/fan set up dumped that heat well. Why this card now? I needed a new card badly to finish my Ryzen build, had the money now(tight budget), and it fit my current build well. Is it the best? No. Is it the worst(reference version)? No. So yeah, I'm not made of money or willing to wait any longer for next gen. From the comments below it must be nice to have both money and time to burn.
XFX using some shit thermal paste since the RX 400 series. My 480 GTR Black Edition reached 78°C, changed the thermal paste with some kryonaut and dropped to the high 60s.
I'm hearing off a very reliable source this guy gets free stock off AMD for promoting their product. Makes alot of sense if you watch his videos all AMD is great etc etc
I don't like reviews that don't compare to other custom partner models, this is way too shoehorned into a "I god this card from the manufacturer" and will only compare it to the reference AMD model... With that logic, EVERY partner card is great, because the cooling and noise levels on the reference AMD card is not good.

Doing softmod I was able to run mine at 2150 with +90 power limit. It ran over 100c at hotspot stock and overclocked. Was able to lower it by adjusting the fan curve but just to 94c
I had this card for 2 weeks and it absolutely did do the overheating and fan kick to compensate. Also the dual monitor support on this card for me was terrible, Almost every game I had if I clicked on my screen both went dark until I hit the windows key. Returned it and paid more for an rtx 2080 that had a price cut. NO ISSUES NOW!
@@GamerMeld I had the latest driver updates as well, 19.9.3. Customer support told me to roll back drivers to 19.8.2.(still did it) It would only do the dead fan on games if you went from a long idle to load. In my experience this seems like a bios adjustment more so than a driver problem. I also could have gotten a bad card, I really like amd and still have a ryzen CPU. This experience for me just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Complains about stock issues, proceeds to show a newegg page were half the GPU's are at msrp and the other half are 20$ over msrp. One of them is actually below msrp after debate lol. The sibs have a slight markup. For example the pulse is msrp 409, and the nitro is msrp 439, markup of $40 which is the most aggressive on the page. If anyone's waiting on msrp, dont unless you wanted that nitro.
But why would it perform worse with higher clocks? Was the fan curve too tight so that is was thermal throttling? I honestly can't think of any other reason so this is very bizarre.
This card has been great and awful at the same time. Not once did my 1070 ever give me the headaches that this card is giving me. 1. Black Screen - for some reason, if I load a game out of the blue, I get black screen and my computer freezes for minutes on end. If I reboot(mostly by having to hard reset) l, the game usually starts up just fine. 2. Dual screen issues - my 2 Monitors are a 32 inch 1440p HP Omen and a 27 inch Dell 1080p. With 2 separate resolutions going, it feels the Radeon software is just too damn buggy to have these working correctly. Ideally, I like to have my discord on my 27 inch, steam chat and maybe chrome up too. But since I've gotten this card, it's been a nightmare to keep that trend going. Temp fixes- turning off any extra options (sharpening, anti-lag(I put it back on once in game, and turning on Freesync(not amd optimized)) helps a bit. Any feedback or advice on this would be helpful. I may just cough up another hundred and go for a 2070super, because this is getting to be a pain.
I open the raw 2 did a repast also remove the thermal pads on the stainless steel plate an introduced a graphite thermal pad to connect the steel plate to the heat pipes
I absolutely hate this card so so so so much. The drivers absolutely suck, the temps are hurting the entire system. Underperforms because the xfx team doesn't know what they are doing apparently
I9 10900k or 10700k would probably still be the best two gaming cpus. It’s hard to get excited for AMD when intel has so much more support when it comes to software. AMD also has a huge issue with running too hot. I currently have a 9700k. AMD high benchmarks remind me of smartphone benchmarks. I can’t wait for the side by side comparisons when it comes to 4K gaming. I’m not a hater, but I think AMD has a ways to go imo. What’s there to prove with these cards would be longevity.
Bruh this card is shitty I paid 400 something dollar coz I thought it would be a good card for my pc but I was wrong So I bought this card for like a month ago but then ever since I got it I kept getting a random green screen for every games that I run started from day . I tried fixing it followed some instructions from google & from people who's having the same issues like me but it never works for me still got the problem until now.
Reinstall windows. I had your issue did all the AMD driver cleaner recommendations to no avail. I've had the Raw II since Feb. of this year... Not so much in love with this card, but we're stuck together....

For my tests, it didn’t. Keep in mind that there have been some driver updates as well.
