Not even any channels I saw like this channel with good quality and guide as like Mysore palace guider and Chitradurga fort guider . Tanjavur Talaiyaati Bommai (தஞ்சாவூர் தலையாட்டி பொம்மை ) , It is famous all over Tamil Nadu . Bhaarat art is Bhaarat culture . That Tanjore's famous Talaiyaati Bommai would shake its head awesomely as so Talai + Aati which means Head + shake , that's why Talaiyaati Bommai .
I would love to buy them to encourage local skills. Unfortunately, these toys are not of good quality. I bought few and they break easily. Made from cheap materials and glue comes off easily. They cannot compete with other brands like Mattel, Disney etc if they compromise on quality. Hopefully, they take this feedback.
These toys are not banned in Europe. It was my favorite toy and learned arithmetic using this "toy". I would like to give Channapatna toys to my children. I tried to bring a few toys from Channapana to the UK. But they were confiscated by the UK Custom officials as not being certified safe for the children. The toys manufacturers should get the toys certified by the UK trading standards only then they could export to the EU. As the UK is not in the EU, the toys should be certified both in Europe and the UK. The people over here are gradually moving away from things made from plastic and are willing to pay over the odds for such environmentally safe toys. The toy manufacturer should take this opportunity and promote toys that are environmentally safe. They should also be competitively priced to compete with Chinese toys. I do not think people would care if the toys are made in India or China. Most of the toys nowadays are sold online. If you search Amazon or eBay, sadly, you do not find any Channapatna toys.
