I may be a little bias because I started racing as a junior in 1987 because of his 86 tour win. But I have never seen anyone look so perfect on a bike than Lemond. The bike under him looked like an extension of him. He was built perfectly to ride a bike.

Lemond's tt position looks uncannily more modern than some later years
