In this video, Abhi and Niyu discuss the dark reality of chocolates. Have you noticed that the chocolates you ate as a child taste different now? Have you noticed that the chocolates you get abroad are different from the chocolates you get in India? Have you noticed the difference?
Chocolate companies have been adding more and more sugar in their chocolates than cocoa solids. Slowly, all of our favorite chocolates are going to disappear and we might just be having SUGAR. This video narrates an interesting story of how Ivory Coast and Ghana produce about 60% of the world's cocoa beans and how European chocolate brands have become popular over time.
Just as always, Abhi and Niyu also share the solutions of how we can be more aware as consumers, read product labels and take informed buying decisions. This video is also a lesson for India to become ATMANIRBHAR in terms of producing cocoa beans and making chocolates

I was wondered that how you people noticed that reason behind China's and Bangladesh importing of Rice and cotton which consumes more water😊😊😊😊. I was stunned that movement. Very good explanation and keep up the good work.
I had shared this to many in my surrounding.
Reminded me of British colonialism where cotton from India was exported to Manchester and fabric was imported back to India. To imagine Bangladesh doing that to India

@@A1mb0t_Fr0z3n Selling Cheap doesn't mean you can sell degraded quality products which can have harmful effects on your health in long term.
As in this case, they market products as very Delicious chocolate for kids🍫 but in reality it's not chocolate at all, just 2-4% cocoa and other ingredients are artificial or chemicals.
Indian food laws are weak and lucid. That's why it's easy for businesses to manipulate them.
Whereas there are strict food laws applied in some western countries. That's why they can't easily play with quality over pricing.

Hello Sir & Mam
Recently on 25 April the result of JEE MAINS was announced my brother scored 98.79 percentile.Yesterday CBSE BOARD result was declared my brother scored 70% in it .
As a result he is not eligible for getting IITs and NITs..due to 75% criteria.
After scoring these graceful marks he is unable to get iits and nits for which he had worked hard...
This experience is worst than death for my family...
This is not only the case with my brother nearby a girl scored 99 percentile in JEE Mains and got 73, in boards and she was found hanged to fan.She attempted suicide because she cannot get iits and nits..
Let us ask NTA why after scoring these graceful marks students are asked to fulfill 75% criteria..if they are conducting their own exam they should give seats according to this exam..let us request them to remove this criteria...let us request them to not joke with us......
The talented brains of India are attempting suicide ...
This is very crucial issue..
Plz make video on this topic..this is the very first time i am commenting on RUclips...
Please don't break my hope...

Your video just gave me the goosebumps for the fact, the kind of research your team is doing is commendable. It is high time that we ourselves should not be taken for ride by the International brands and the national authorities or agencies. Kudos to this video guys. Keep your good work.
Hi bro! It took me a Master's degree to understand the nuances of research methodology and data representation. If they have a team of people, then the quality of research is just acceptable not outstanding. I have no qualms with your opinion but they are just making infotainment videos and flooding us with variety of information most of which is not actionable! Like for instance, how many people those who are consumers, shall file a grievance or consumer complaint when they find discrepancies in ingredients of a food packet!?

i recently bought dairy milk imported from UK, it tasted like the dairy milk i remember and the only indian dairy milk that could clome close to it was silk, Regular indian dairy milk tastes nothing like it used to, which was exactly what the UK one tastes like. Only Amul still tastes like it used to.
But India is the SECOND largest producer of sugarcane. This reduction of cocoa is actually beneficial for us
Our govt needs to learn from Europe, where they have better regulations. Also enforcing regulations is lacking due to various reasons. Make in India is great initiative, hopefully it will grow to all areas. Thanks for bringing this information. We need to educate our young generation!!!
Amul has a lot of percentage of cocoa in many packs, amul dark chocolates are best for now
The problem is this:
I really, really prefer not to eat chocolate because I cannot control with my wallet what kind of sugar is in it. Did you know that sugar is typically whitened by bleaching it over bone char or CATTLE BONES?? That means that that white-man sugar is not vegan! Under current market rules, I cannot make sure that Amul Dark Chocolate doesn't contain white sugar made this way. The only thing I will use is gūr, and it must say on the package that it is cane sugar or concentrated can sugar only. No other ingredients.
That's why I like this channel
They always comes with a beautiful way forward ❤
If you visit any super market in the UK there are separate sections for confectionary and chocolate. Kitkat, Mars, Gems, Snickers, Cadbury Dairy milk falls under confectionary. They are not even categorized as chocolates. In the chocolate section you will find brands such as Lindt, Godiva, Tony's Chocolonely and others where chocolate contents are higher
great video once again, us consumers in india lack this important awareness and assume all chocolate is the same.
I wish you would have delved a little deeper into the basic ingredients of chocolate and show what we should be looking for when making the purchase decision.
Thanks for this informational video. We have to be aware of what we are consuming.

fun fact - viewers of paramveer pasanger already know about origion of coco fruit location and location of iverycost and ghana in map
Cocoa and chocolate both come from the same source: the Theobroma cacao tree, also known as the cocoa tree. But they differ in how they are processed:
Cacao: These are the raw, unroasted seeds of the cocoa tree. They go through a fermentation process to develop their flavor, but they are not roasted. You can find cacao nibs, which are chopped up pieces of cacao beans, or cacao powder, which is made by grinding the beans. Cacao has a more bitter taste than chocolate.
Chocolate: Chocolate is made from roasted cacao beans. After roasting, the shell is removed and the inner part of the bean is ground into a paste called cocoa mass. This paste is then processed further by separating the cocoa butter (the fat) from the cocoa solids. Chocolate typically includes cocoa butter, cocoa solids (cocoa mass or cocoa powder), sugar, and sometimes milk powder or other ingredients. The higher the percentage of cocoa solids in chocolate, the darker and more bitter it will be. Milk chocolate contains cocoa solids but also milk powder, making it sweeter and milder than dark chocolate. White chocolate doesn't actually contain cocoa solids, but it does contain cocoa butter, giving it a creamy texture
