I m watching many social media posts and also established channels on Delhi election. Obvious there is "Kante ka Takkar". I am however surprised that practically none of them are cross- checking the claims of participants in the programmes. If somebody is claiming non- availability of Doctors/ medicines at Moholla clinics, it can be easily cross- checked. If indeed swimming pool in a school is accessible to the paying public and not to its students, it can be easily cross- checked too.
I saw no presenter enquiring what use Rs 2,100 p.m., if waste is not cleared on daily basis, if contaminated water comes (if at all) in pipeline almost daily, if roads are full of potholes. The quality of reporting must improve.

Your are absolutely right. Every one is making allegations but no one is even attempting to prove them. Those who actually go our and vote, vote on the basis of free bees and cash bonuses at the time of voting. Whichever party manages this expectations better, will win. Does bjp's strategy to win election or for that matter any other party has anything to do with development and prosperity of people, food education, health care or anything of real value to people or just a useless commentry that serves no purpose to the life of the people. The ruling party is blaming cm of non-border states like delhi, for bangladeshis, when delhi cm don't even have the power to control the delhi police.

It is a fundamental duty of govt to provide quality primary education & healthcare, but despite 75 years of independence, not all state cm have been able to do this, which highlights the difficulty in making it possible.
Delhi takes unemployed from UP & Haryana. The Highest unemployment is in Bihar, Haryana & Rajasthan. India has many challenges, including a decrease in household savings. Currently, wages for majority of earners are too low to accommodate income taxes, after gst.
The ruling party in the union govt is doing distracting narrative in the election again, similar to what happened in other states, with things like mangalsutra and macchli.

Chipping away at the USP of AAP which had an anti-establishment, anti-corruption image(it was borne out of middle class anger) and pro-governance is central to the BJP's campaign. Since the election is highly localised, raising the flaws,failures of the civic authorities(MCD is with AAP now) and the state government is first part of the messaging. Second part is the renovation and refurbishment of the CM's house which had happened during COVID when ordinary citizens were struggling with a health and economic crisis. This is aimed at hurting his "aam aadmi" image. The third part is raising the issue of "liquor scam". It targets one of the important parts of the party's distinctive political identity i.e. corruption free image.
